They must have had good meeting in Montreal. Bill Clinton was a popular president. I am his fan. We all have our little personal indiscretions.

To Error is to be human. Going all the way back to early Biblical Times in the Old Testament.

Like Bill once said on Television in a News Conference, " Those who ask for forgiveness, should be Prepared to give it "

Everybody has their Skeletons, except me { lol } just joking, before everybody goes nuts

It's interesting. Clinton is hugely popular in Canada even more so than he is in the US and he's hugely popular in the US. It says something in Canada when our heroes are men who cheat on their wives and embarass her and his daughter in front of the world. Little error? Taking advantage of an intern barely out of her teens? And of course that was only one of his public indeiscretions not to mention the ones we don't know about. Sorry folks, Slick Willie has a responsibility too yet we idolize an adulterer anyway and say oops that was cute. It's a twisted world when wrong is right.

Bill Clinton was one of the best President U.S ever had. Bright. He tried to bring peace in the world as opposed to George W. who is invading counteries left and right and is a war-monger. Bush is endangering the whole globe.

Agreed. You have to be pretty bright to manipulate your own family to have your wants and not care about them and then lie to the entire country as Clinton did. Nice guy. I feel sorry for Hillary and Chelsea. Great role model he was for his daughter.

No one has to feel sorry for Chelsea. She uderstands human weaknesses and made clear to the whole world that she loves her father uncoditionally. You need not feel sorry for Hillary. She undersands human weaknesses as well and forgave her husband. Why would anyone feel sorry for Hillary Clinton. She is highly respected Senator and may be the next President of the United States.

However one does feel sorry for the incompetent leaders and we have one of them right here in N.B. And sorry for those who are victim of that incompetency.

Monica is good looking.

YEAH,

SHE'S A BABE

Since she is a babe, 7:03 may be Bernard Lord will run her as a candidate for one of the NB ridings.

But she will never go on her knees for Bernie.

I'll agree that Hillary certainly had plenty of experience forgiving her husband for his "weakness". Shessh, the former leader of the free world just couldn't help but take advantage of an intern in her 20's and betray his family several times that we KNOW of. Yeah, great role model. Just about as good as Stanley Tookie Williams. I don't agree with the death penalty but I also don't agree with painting a man a hero as many have and claiming he had a few "weaknesses" when he killed four people including a kid. Great "heroes" we have in our world.

Before you lambaste Bill Clinton what is the biblical story, since you are such a God fearing man, that one who committed no sin should throw the first rock. We all have our little skeletons in the closet. Bill Clinton is by far one of the best Presidents U.S ever had. Then comparing with a murderer is unfortuante. How many tens of thousands people have been killed in Iraq because of George Bush but you say nothing about him because may be he is your Conservative hero.

If 9/11 had happened during Clinton's reign I guarantee he would have also retaliated. I think the war in Iraq quite frankly is a mess but the cause the soldiers themselves are fighting is a noble one, to free the Iraqui people from a despot. The mistake the U.S. made in 1991 was in leaving Hussein in powere to continue killing his own people. He should have been captured and tried then. Lots of people have died needlessly on both sides because Saddam was left in power. I sure don't have a solution for Iraq but I do know it would be irresponsible for the U.S. to pull out at this point. The Iraqi people need all the assistance they can get. War sucks and we should never think it's a good thing. A good side of the war for the U.S. is the fact there have been no major terrorist attacks on Americans since 9/11. Something is working.

Even U.S congressmen are saying there were no terrorists in Iraq when Sadam was in power and now there are many. So what problem was solved. Bush has killed more people in Iraq in a short time then Sadam might have throughout his rule. Some liberation. If U.S was not so powerful Bush would have been tried for genocide. His own country people do not support him and many senators and congressmen have asked for withdrawl from Iraq. It is a quagmire.

30,000 Iraquis killed during the war. Saddam killed 100's of thousands of Kurds as a form of genocide. Yep, war sucks but to leave Hussein there would have been worse. Yeah senators and congressman have asked for a complete withdrawal, at least some have and nearly all of those are Democrats so take that as you will. I'll agree it's a quagmire with no easy solution, however we're pretty smug in Canada because we've never been the victim of a terrorist attack. There would be a far different attitude in this country if a couple of jumbo jets had slammed into buildings in downtown Toronto.

Anti war are not only Democrates but Republicans too. Repeat, according to all accounts there were no terrorists in Iraq before the war. Now they are everywhere. U.S claims Saddam killed 100 of thousands to justify war. There is no proof. You think 30,000 lives lost is nothing and that is according to U.S. There could be manyfolds more loss of lives. Attack on Iraq was a blunder. Too anxious to have hands on those oil wells. To remove Saddam there were many other ways then straight out attack on Iraq. There are many dictators in the world. Why you think Saddam was chose, oil wells and nothing else.

Spinks said...

Iraquis in general seem happy to see Saddam gone. Even the anti-US CBC has reported that.

Anonymous said...

On 20" screen they may look happy. Few who are selectively interviewed. Vast majority are suffering. Anyway Bill Clinton was a billion times better President than George W.

I haven't been there like you obviously have 10:46, given your comments so I'll have to take your word for it. Glad to see you made it back to Canada okay.

There were 2 soldiers interviewed today on ABC who were in Iraq. Very disillusioned. They said people are suffering and want their normal life back which was taken away from them after the attack. They added Iraqis rather have electricity restored, clean water and proper sewage disposal then so-called democracy. Much of that infrastructure has been destroyed.

Spinks said...

...and of course we've seen soldiers interviewed who talk about Iraquis welcoming them with open arms. Depends who you walk to. Granted, it's war-torn and not an overly happy place right now. But what does the U.S. do now? Pull out and leave them to their own devices? That would be irresponsible.

It is irresponsible to go to war in Iraq then what is the difference. Let the country sort out its own problems but then Bush may not get oil wells.
