Believe it or not Charles, I think he will. He Knows What Happened in The Provincial Bye-Election,.

I figure it's like an actual Military Battle, the Conservative Party as a whole won't Retreat, but I thnk they'll try and Re-Deploy their Forces so to speak.

If Harper in my own humble personal opinion only, can pull off a Victory in Saint John and Defeat Zed, { he was defeated before } Harper Pulls One Off for his Federal Party, but for Bernard Lord as well.

If Harper wins the Federal Election, and can Defeat Zed, then Bernard has a heavy Hammer in the Nations Capital.

But most Polls are leaning towards a Liberal win at the present time. But it ain't over until the fat lady sings, and all Ballots on that Historic Day forth coming, in the Future are counted.

Who Knows, but it will Be Interesting to say the Least. And I could write a book on what I don't know about Elections, or Politics for that matter :>)

from what I here, the only person willing to do something for the harbour is Bernard Lord, the only showing of commitment has been him as far as Harper saying nothing is better than lying to the people like Martin and his looser buddy Zed.

Harper is not connecting with voters. Lot of media says the same. He has serious problems. One survey showed that Harper will cause hurt in Maritime because of his "defeatist mentality" remarks.

He's not connecting in the maritimes because he knows its a waste of time, especially in New Brunswick and PEI and somewhat in Newfoundland. Nova Scotians tend to give the conservatives an occasional shot. However, he is connecting in southern ontario where i hear there are tory signs all over the place. I have a feeling a lot of people may vote liberal, but won't put up a sign to advertise the fact.

According to media reports Harper is not connecting with public everywhere. It is not only in Maritimes. People want change but they do not see him as the one who will bring change. His connection with old Reform party is his baggage also.
