CRTC AGREES WITH ROGERS TELEVISION AND NOW THIS???

Picture 032, originally uploaded by Oldmaison.

It just proves my point that The Irvings and Rogers Television are working side by side to deny New Brunswickers the right to speak.

The Irvings are denying New Brunswickers the right to write letters to the Editor.

Rogers Television are denying New Brunswickers to call in the talk show.

Only the elite will be able to write or speak to the Politicians.

It's old Germany all over again!!!

To be fair? In this case, The host didn't agree with the headline in the paper but free advertisement is free advertisement.

Rogers Television should be investigated of the manner they are trying to brainwash the public.

Myself, I just watch the first few minutes and I change the channel.

CNN is much better.

I wonder if the Irvings are paying this kid to advertise their paper???

Good question?

Where's the story? What are you trying to say or show with this?
Reblog and clairify what it is your passing on?
Charlie sometimes the picture alone doesn't get to the point in question.
You can't even make out the headline in the picture if in fact that is what your pointing out?

You have gotten a little lazy on the keys and are now assuming people can read your mind through pictures.

Uh, try ramping up your brain cells. Charles point is that Rogers is plugging Irving papers, it's pretty explicit in the blog.

I don't particularly agree, although there is a point to it. It IS a talk show, so in the province you are pretty restricted to Irving papers because there is nothing else. However, the paper doesn't need to be shown, and it could be seen as a plug, although it certainly doesn't sound like 'old germany'.

I love how they got him to grow the three day stubble (or six day for him) otherwise he'd look like a fourteen year old offering his 'opinions'.

well charlie you are not the only one in Canada that get denied air time .. in our democratic country we are not aoolwed to speak against anything or our pe fellows citizen will cut our throat since they only believe in our communist government and thier big corporated american sponsor

Every show on CNN screens their calls.

communism can't be sponsored by corporations, you're thinking of a word Charles uses that people don't like-

it's called 'fascism'. Fascism means that all individual rights are ultimately subservient to the state's rights.

Communism is when all property and industry is owned in common by people directly (socialism) or by a central state authority (marxism). Hence the word 'commune' like you hear in church, or community. Canada is neither of those (not even close), it is a colony of Great Britain granted independance. Canada is a constitutional monarchy. The monarchy's lackeys run Canada, they don't even usually bother with using parliament anymore-and they sell out to their highest bidder-american (and canadian, and european, and Bermudian) corporations.

CNN doesn't screen their calls, because they are an international station they only take a certain number of calls in order to maintain a semblance of diversity. CNN is hardly a bastion of free speech, so even if it were true, just because somebody else does something wrong, doesn't mean it justifies you doing something wrong.

Listen to public radio in the states and they don't screen at all. Notice how the US has hundreds of public radio and television stations and New Brunswick has none. Just try getting on a CBC show with a point of view sometime-good luck. Unless your issue is about gardening or a pot luck you can forget it.

There is ZERO public media in NEw Brunswick. Charles website is the closest thing, at least in the comments you can talk about whatever you want or feel is important. And if it affects people and isn't covered elsewhere its a good bet charles will make it a blog.
