While walking on the streets of the Capital? I was approached by an individual about a concern problem.

I was asked to go to a certain room on Regent Street and tell the people in that room that you’re Charles LeBlanc!

P1010029

I told the individual that’s pretty scary to walk into a stranger
place and say that???

It could be a hitman?..lol…

hit

Being Charles? < nosy >

I decided to go and have a look. I knocked at the door and was told to come in because the door was unlocked.

Once inside, I noticed a young couple in their mid-20s sitting against the wall on a mattress on the floor.

I recognized the young girl from the Soup Kitchen.

Picture 035

I was told that her boyfriend was in a halfway house.

I guess the story wasn’t true because he was in the building.

They seem a nice couple so I introduced myself?

The attractive young girl showed me this clipping in the newspaper.

court!!!

I noticed that the girl was wearing a nice silver cross around her neck.

It was hard to believe that I was reading about the same guy who was laying down on the mattress.

I heard the same story over and over.

P1010072

The Doctors prescribes the prescription and these individuals get hook on the drugs.

I still say here in New Brunswick?

Many of these doctors are legal drug dealers.

heroine2

The issue that really grabbed my attention is that the Irving Newspaper < Daily Gleaner > printed the guy address!!!

Charles 04_07_05 018

Everything!! Street and number!!!

The Irving’s went as far as printed the room number.

That’s disgusting!!!

These reporters are always writing about crime in this City but now they are encouraging these drug addicts to continue their drug trade or crime by publishing their address????

Sickening!!

You must understand that old junkies friends or drug dealers will know where he’s located therefore encouraging the poor guy to go back on a crime spree.

P1010069

To make matter worst?

The Government with our famous Family Services has also encourage this former junkie to continue their old ways.

The young guy went for his methadone yesterday morning but found out that New Brunswick Family Services have cut the guy off from the Methadone.

The couple was told that they would have to re-apply for social assistance as a couple but until then?

The Lord Government will not pay for the guy methadone!!!

So? The guy is under House arrest and got no money for methadone?

What is he suppose to do?

Why is Family Services denying this individual Methadone?

It just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever!

I always knew that Bernard Lord is always ignoring the drug problem in this Province but this is ridiculous!

aa

I would write a letter to the Irving’s paper but since Brian Kemp left the Gleaner the new Editor have denied my letter.

He must have been trained at Saint Thomas?

The Irving Paper of the Daily Gleaner and the New Brunswick Government should be ashamed of themselves on this issue.

Charles 04_07_05 018

The question is this? If I hear all these sad stories in a small City?

What the hell is going on in the rest of the province.

Before leaving? I told the couple that I will definitely write their story but I told them that I’m just a blogger so don’t expect any quick action.

Bureaucrats and MLA’s read this blog but will they act on this shameful issue? Of course not!

The guy name and address is in the court section in this blog!

Shame on Family Services and the Irving’s newspapers to give this poor soul a more difficult time!!!

SHAME …SHAME…SHAME!!!!

Maybe this is a good thing! I believe that names and address of those (regardless of age) should be published. By doing that, the individuals that steal or deal drugs will be known to the general public and possibly bad guys won't want to be seen at a known felon's address. By naming a juvenile, that youth might be less ready to shame himself and family again.

I'm no Einstein Folk's, but here's my 2 cents for what it's worth, as stupid as it may be to some :

I understand what Charles is saying and trying to get across, and I understand what 2:11-pm Is saying as well.

If a Person is sentensed to behind Bars for a lenghty period of time, it really doesn't matter where He or She Lives or was Living, because now their living behind bars.

If a person is back on the street as part of paying back their so-called Debt To Society, what's to keep the Pusher Man or Mr. Big as Charles stated to Possibly Force the person to go back into the Selling Buisness, with the Business Proposal, " Do It Or Something Possibly Fatal might happen to the person, or their Family "

It's a tough call to make. But what do I know, some say I'm a Nut`

Charles, the Daily Gleaner has been printing the addresses of alleged and convicted criminals in its "In the Courts" section for years. This is not new. I guess you haven't been reading the most popular page of our Capital city's paper? Reminds me of the good old days when they used to print the names and addresses of people who were getting a divorce. Wait, didn't that just happen the other day... jeesh, for a moment there I thought I was in 1946. I can hardly wait until Stephen Harper becomes the Prime Minister, then everybody's name and addresses will be "In the Courts" for the most minor transgressions. Thank god for the mob mentality (pecksniffers - look that one up in the dictionary) you know who....ha ha

Names & addresses may break my bones but a pecksniffer like you will never hurt me.

Willy and me needs methadone as do a lot of other people, money is being wasted and the people who were looking after the program were stupid and naive. We need real help not a bandaid.

Too many doctors hooking kids is the problem. Can't you people see, or does your insurance pay for yours and you are right out of it?

Our system is wrong right from the time we have our children. Luckily I went with my gut instinct and refused to drug my two year old, and then at eight I refused again. Now my son is almost 27 and doesnot use drugs or smoke but likes an ocassional social drink. Thankful I persisted that I felt the side effects were not worth the risk.

hey guys...i really appreciate everything. You see, thats my address too, one that we also share with two young children...and it seems that don macpherson only prints the specific house address when he thinks that someone may be beat up for it. Seriously...lots of love.
