I found this a disturbing site.
Last week while walking by the Ombudsman building.

I noticed all the barricades in his building.
I may add that the Ombudsman office is the only Provincial Building that’s not security lock.

Bernard Richard has an open door policy and this is good for the public.
The Sergeant At Arms should find another place to store these barricades.

It’s bad enough to have them present once the Legislature opens but in the Ombudsman Building?

That’s an insult to Bernard Richard and New Brunswickers.
Put these Barricades out of sight and out of mind from the public eye.
We will see these barricades soon enough in the spring.

We don’t need a reminder that the Capital is changing into Fort Knox.

Man, you must be one bored individual.
Merci!!
Almost as bored as anonymous posters eh Charles. Thanks for the good blog for those of us not in the capital. It's quite symbolic that the ombudsmans office is surrounded with fences to keep out New Brunswickers.
As for the previous post, I don't know which to feel-happy to be rid of Lord next year, or sad that once again New Brunswick will have a government opposite that in Ottawa!
Those barricades are around the Legislature not the ombudsman's building. They stored the barricades in his building as you can tell by the picture.
I am not sure who is more bored..you,Charles, or those, including myself, that took the time to post a reply.LOL
