IS FREDERICTON NEXT TO BE HELD HOSTAGE BECAUSE OF VLT'S???? < Tim, May 4, 2005 >

Tim, May 4, 2005, originally uploaded by Oldmaison.

This is now the second such incident involving VLTs and a Hotel.

The first being "The Colonial Inns Hotel" in Saint John N.B. of which this blogsite carried the story on June 6th 2005 just 9 short Months ago.

Now this one in the city of Moncton N.B.which has taken the next level toward disaster.

Which leaves me to wonder how long it will be before the third time might be the City of Fredericton N.B. right on The Government of New Brunswick's doorstep.

"The Beaverbrook Hotel"??

As this government is well aware of the fact that if you put a situation in someone's path, eventually you must come to a crossroad along with the oldest saying in the books when it comes to gambling "Third Time the Charm"

Is this Government willing to go with the odds?

Is the money worth the Gamble??

Will greed outway forsight??

Is the protection of our citizens at rick because of our Government's addiction to VLTs??

The Government of New Brunswick Must step up and do the right thing on VLTs.

Introduce responsible regulations and take responsiblity for the death toll this province has suffered because of explotation of Video Lottery Machines as they are the Soul operators of them as well as the soul benifactors of the revenues.

After 15 years since taking over VLTs and their precious cargo the Government of New Brunswick has done absolutely nothing but make improvements to these machine to real in more and more and more money without ever considering improvments to the VLT program or housing them as well as been very defyible to making any improvements financially to recovery and proper counciling of this addiction.
