DID THE SAINT JOHN POLICE FORCE INVESTIGATE THIS SCAM FROM TWO YEARS AGO????

police, originally uploaded by Oldmaison.

I received this email and I predicted two years ago that the total would be close to $250,000!!!

Every junkie ran to this course and got their computer to sell it for drugs!

Here's the email -

Charlie, Did you ever find out anything about the scam that some business
in Saint John was doing by giving anyone who wanted a computer and money to
attend school and most received money and computer and never went to
school.

Remember the Drug Addict scam.

Its funny that not another word
was mentioned.

It was the government who shut it down and I think it was them who initiated it.

Get some facts if you can.

Still wondering in Saint John and I am sure that I am paying for it though my taxes!

Yes Charles this school was over in the west side in the old Dr. Roberts and it was called Certify On-Line. An acqaintance went there a couple of years ago, she got a computer for herself, then her boyfriend (same address) went and he got c omputer (all new), then all her kids, ages 20 and up each went (same address) and all got computers. Some of them got cheques in the mail to boot for $500 and in that area. The computers were quickly sold and they got a decent sum of cash, they must have had 5 or 6 computers in all. Nothing was ever done, but I did see her name in the paper a few weeks ago for fraud, the lady's name was Valeria Guerette. The school was also known as the Advances Training but many know it as Certify On Line. Yeah, every druggie in the city was going there, what a sham.
Everyone was happy , the druggies got their money and the school rooked everyone out of a lot of government money.
SOme honest ones that went are stuck with the student loans though and their credit is suffering because of this.

Ther was a course offered at Samuel Champlain years ago and the EI office informed my daughter about how they guaranteed the quality and she took the course. After a few months into it and half of the money in the course she refused to pay the balance of the loan and called the government and asked thay not pay the balance. Another student payed all of it. This was a scam and they took him to court but in the end they still had to pay this loan and he got away with paying very little back to both of these students. This person had been to court before. No true protection for those who profit on other peoples money. Some how we pay our own loans and others who con the system. The cons don't pay most of the time or just pay a samll portion. Great work if you can get away with it. Imagine paying for a loan and no benefit in education except not to trust the government who suggested the course.

Once scammed but forever paying the Loan!
