GOD'S MINUTE!!

I CALL ON YOU, O GOD, FOR YOU WILL ANSWER ME;
GIVE EAR TO ME AND HEAR MY PRAYER.

Dear Charles,
I truly believe that prayer is one of the most powerful things
on this Earth! I have personally witnessed what many call
miracles, as the result of prayer!

King David wrote; I CRIED OUT TO HIM WITH MY
MOUTH; HIS PRAISE WAS ON MY TONGUE. IF I HAD
CHERISHED SIN IN MY HEART, THE LORD WOULD
NOT HAVE LISTENED; BUT GOD HAS SURELY
LISTENED AND HEARD MY VOICE IN PRAYER.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO HAS NOT REJECTED MY
PRAYER OR WITHHELD HIS LOVE FROM ME!
( PSALM 66:17-20 )

Now the same thing holds true for us as well. So; DO
NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT IN EVERY-
THING, BY PRAYER AND PETITION, WITH
THANKSGIVING, PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD.
For THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL
AND EFFECTIVE. ( JAMES 5:16 )

Now Charles, I would like to share one of my favorite
poems with you, it is called "Just A Little Prayer."

God is ever there for those
Who really, really care,
He helps dispel your cares and woes
With just a little prayer.

Invite the Lord into your heart,
He has much love to spare,
A love He gladly would impart
With just a little prayer.

Let Him know where things go wrong,
No matter when or where.
He can fill your heart with song
With just a little prayer.

It matters not your race or creed,
God does not compare.
He can fill your wants and needs
With just a little prayer.

No power on earth can give a man
God's immortal blessings rare.
He is the only One who can
With just a little prayer.
