Hi Charlie, I am pleased to find that I am not the only one who thought well of Pope John Paul II.
This Pope did more to spread the Love of Christ to Christians and non-Christians then any other Pope or, Bishop of Rome in Modern Church history. He was an inspiration to me and he was a living Martyr and an Icon to many.He is now hailed as either the third or, fourth longest Reigning Pontiff in the History even surpassing Leo XIII. He showed us all how to live through the hardest and most difficult times, and the not so difficult times. And when it was time to bid us a fond farewell, he showed us how to die with the Grace and Dignity of the Human Person. It is hard to believe that it has only been one year since he left us.
