Hearings may not be held in city

National Energy Board hearings surrounding the natural gas pipeline may not be held in Saint John.

"It's not 100 per cent certain where the hearing will be held yet," said board environmental specialist Alison Farrand. "The board really makes an effort to hold hearings in a location where people can access the hearings. But the other part of the reality is that the board has to deal with logistics and what's available and all that other stuff, which is why we can't make any guarantees."

They generally tend to be held where the interested parties are, she said. The hearing order will provide those details. It is not yet known when that order will be issued.

i hope the hearings aren't held in saint john. it's just a formality, the pipe;ine is going through Rockwood Park, we all know that.

So having said the above, why don't people just shut up it and get on with their boring lives, and learn to accept what is real.

Just how ignorant can you be 10:02.
What rock are you from oh yes Norm's yes person.

Glad some people have the character to question things and are not yes people.

This area did not happen with people like you. Saint John has always accepted the crap and that is why we have been taken for a ride far too long. The Irvings need to pay for things and get off our welfare system.

I won't waste my breath on you but we all have a judgement day see you then. Fire for some!
