I was told this evening that it was indeed the staff from Bernard Lord office that gave the orders to Rogers Television < Old Germany > not to take my calls.
My God? Do they truly believe that people were begining to listen to me?
Shame on the Bernard Lord Government for denying New Brunswickers the right to phone in a talk show.

You whine and moan so much about Rogers but yet you constantly watch it, take pictures of the tv and basically advertise for them on your blog. You're an unbelievable hypocrite.
Rogers is a private company - is that so difficult for you to comprehend? They can ignore you if they want to ignore you - you have no "right" to be aired.
Private companies shouldn't have to provide free speech.
This fellow himself controls whose comments get posted here. How can he complain about others? It is ok when he does it but for others it is old Germany all over again. BULL**IT.
Well, actually you DO have that right. It's called freedom of speech. Airwaves are public, the CRTC has strict regulations on how private broadcasters must function. The CRTC does a lousy job, but thats not Charles' fault. Your internet provider is also a private company, so in other words, the only place where people can have 'freedom of speech' is on CBC television, according to the above.
Its because of people like the above that New Brunswick is a third world backwater, in fact they like it that way so don't like anybody to say anything about it. Even though their posts get shown here they say that Charles is the same, that's how stupid they are. It's ironic that this is the only place their idiotic ramblings would be aired. But that's free speech for you....good going charles. You're a better man than I, I wouldn't think twice about blocking their IP address so they couldn't even come to the site. The world would be better off without them.
Chuck has blocked my posts challenging him on GO before, so he does control speech.
The CRTC does not and should not make it so that everyone gets to call in a TV show. You people need to realize that your UI cheques have to come from the governments you are trying to overtax with useless jobs like the CRTC.

What peoople are trying to get him to understand is that it is pointless for him to complain and complain and complain that private companies aren't entertaining his every whim. Other peoples' points of views are just as valid and deserve the same opportunities to be heard but Charles seems to think his voice is more important than anyone else's. Unless he can be on the air for every live tv and radio show and have a letter to the editor every day in every newspaper and magazine published in this province, he won't be satisfied. Expecting such a thing isn't rational. People don't want to constantly hear the same thing from the same person all the time - which is exactly what he does. Quality, not quantity, will earn more respect and attract more supporters to a cause.
Companies aren't going to shoot themselves in the foot and alienate customers for the sake of entertaining one. Don't like something? Turn the channel, turn the dial, don't pick up the newspaper and don't buy the magazine. That is how businesses can be affected.
I don't know if it's rooted in jealousy or what, but trying to tell companies how to run their businesses, slandering people, stalking people and making unjust criminal accusations? Come on. It soon becomes predictable behaviour and takes no great skill to antagonize people. After a while, people just don't listen anymore, they'll tune it out because they've heard it all before.
I thought this was supposed to be a Political/ADHD Blog. To date I have seen dogs, priests, homeless people, pleas for money, many photos of the egotisical Author himself, not to mention pregnant women and other unidentify-able "flying objects".
