Amazing that of a sudden after so many major decision that effects us all they want to hear from us.

Smoke and mirrors again or call it what you want.

When we the average taxpayer ask for minor things we are complainers. When the wealthy which includes the Billionaires ask for major things well how high did they jump and how long will this last.

Someone we all have been trying to tell them we can't pay much more but what do they do give tax breaks, spend more and give money to good causes but we still can't afford it. They set a budget and spend thousands for advice and throw that out the window too.

We are all disgusted how little respect they have for people in general. All of us are on fixed incomes but now we ahve to borrow so they can behave at city hall like are millionires on our wages.

How do we feel? No matter how detailed I would get their are people who don't feel the crunch or hard times so they turn their backs on seniors and middle class and poor who all work hard to make ends meet and for what because soon we won't be able to keep up.

Money does not come by easy but the spending of taxes happen and they have the gull to ask for increases in pay for all management postions. SOMETHING IS WRONG WHEN WE ALL WORK HARD AND OUR WAGES DON'T GO UP BUT THE COST FOR EVERYTHING ELSE HAS DOUBLED.

The Mayor and Mr. Manning anyone of these puppets just want to try to disperse the smoke but it won't go away because

I see Charlie's picture in the middle of it all. Is he part of the problem? What is the logic of the picture?

my true view on Saint John...Hmmmmm..that it's going downhill fast big times, that it's very dirty and except for a handful, very poor.
Charles had the right idea when he moved to Fredericton where all the chiefs are !!
We all just can't pack up and leave though, although it would be nice.
I don't know what else to say, it's a very dismal and depressing town with not too much to look forward to, and nothing really going for the people.

We have major problems and minor ones too and no end in sight and to play it down and sugar coat everything is not making them go away. We are not putting the money in Education where it should go. Class size and extra teachers aids are needed. We are failing our youth. I don't have children in the system but my grandson will start next year.

Our mayor is a disgrace and so is our premier and who knows about the prime minister.

When our tax dollars are stolen they should be charged and put in jail. Politicians should not have freedom to waste our money. Time has come for them to pay their own expense with their high wages. No one pays our way.

People here now need help but we go trying to brain wash people from other countries telling them how great it is. It might be good if you get tax concessions, subsidies, grants and low interest loan. Most of us work long hours and come up short no help in sight.

Yes we should not complain because
because we are negative and not part of "Team Saint John".

What a laugh that is. We are not laughing because this is our city too; why should we be forced to leave.

We have a nice area and now we bring in all these people with ideas that didn't work somewhere else and now they will screw us up and drain all our tax dollars and move off to another sucker.

Naive people and passive idiots exist here so welcome and don't let the door hit you in the a//.
