Is it time for the radio talk show Talk of the town to move into the FM area?
I know many people who would love to listen to this show but they can’t because it’s on AM and they can’t receive the poor signals.
I believe they should move to FM!!!! It would reach a much larger audience.
It's the only true show talk in New brunswick and they should move up in the world of radio!

Andrew crystal and Tom Young have far more "true" talk shows.
This will never happen :ie CFBC AM going to the FM Band. There is very strong talk that Talk Of The Town " Will Not Be Returning To The Air At All "
And there is even talk, that the owners MBS in Halifax NS, may even be blowing CFBC off as in Closing It Down and Off The Air.
Rogers whether people like it or not, are taking over the Talk Radio Circuit in Saint John, Moncton and Halifax.
One of your other readers Charles even said in a past blog, Rick Mantle will be returning as DJ Only.
I even heard Bruce Court on Tom Young's Show, this even after Bruce Stated One Day, that Tom was Ignorant and this and that and the other thing.
Why did Court even go on the air with Mr. Young ? He's a sell out, in my opinion.
And I hope the LNG Pipeline goes through Rockwood park as well. Saint John is just one giant Cess Pool.
Rick Mantle sucks. Praying for CFBC to be gone in the fall. At the very least can Mantle. Maybe we could get someone objective instead of someone who has a personal axe to grind with the Irvings. If you don't know what that axe is, just ask around. You will get the real story. Yes if it is to survive, then it should be on the FM dial, but don't hold your breath. RP the MBS bossman is not interested in Saint John or CFBC. All three of their stations in this market suck. What we really need is someone like Newcap to come into SJ and clean out the MBS deadwood. C'mon FredFM and Newcap,put in your application....we need a real alternative!
By the way MJ I looked in the phone book and did'nt see the name MJ listed, so would that mean you are gutless also for not posting your name? Just wondering.
Excuse me for your lack of respect for people of Saint John; we are not a big cess pool. You may want that for us but we love our city and when why is it wrong to try and defend our city and question what is about to happen to us by our billionaire company who happens to get many concessions, grants, forgiveable laons, crown land etc. Frankly they are no longer in need; our city has given to them our resources for little or nothing. Of course they do good things in our city with our money not theirs. They get loans for the LNG but guess who will pay for this not them. The government who suppose to represent all people come up with programs with money so that Irving and other wealthy businesses profit at our expense. No acceptable any longer. Greed has gone too far.
