Good move. Except for die-hard Tories, most NBers admire McKenna.

Yeah, bring in McKenna so he can tell NBers.. Shawn can't screw up the province that bad. Besides, he'll probably hire me as one of his gurus to actually run the province. He would really just be a lame duck Premier...

Smells of desperation from a campaign that is trying to keep up with solid Conservative policies.

Yes what a laugh! What is Premier Lord's problem , he still has his PULL-UPS on. Lies and more lies from Lord who does not care for the people who gave him two chances and he still spent our money on Billionaires and told the rest of us we can afford to pay more and we certainly have.

This has nothing to do with Graham he needs a chance and we should allow one at least; Lord took too many years and was not approachable.

Don't take his word as anything more then "Panic Attacks".

Bank of Montreal (96 points) saw its score improve from last year's 94 partly because Frank McKenna no longer sits on the board. Mr. McKenna was on so many boards last year that we deducted marks from every board he served on.

hahahahaha
and you think WHAT?

He knew how great he was and you knew, but no one else knew, hence backwoods style.
Lord has greatly benefited
the educational system.not just talk

In January and February of 1997 hearings on the new Education Act were held and members of the public were invited to present briefs. The proposed new Act was to introduce sweeping changes to the provincial education system. Not all these changes were welcomed by all sections of the province so a number of briefs questioning the government's actions were presented. During these hearings the Premier of the province, Frank McKenna, told the media in an interview that there was really no need for any hearings at all because as soon as the public realized that the government knew best there would be no further opposition. This statement summed up the attitude of the government of the time. The Liberal party had been in power since 1988 with no strong opposition in the legislature.

With his ties to war profiteers like Carlyle and to corporate apologists like CanWest Global, Frank McKenna fits perfectly into the military-industrial-government-media machine that makes all this killing so profitable. And if this goes against the peaceable intentions of the majority of Canadians, so what? As Paul Martin says, “(McKenna’s) experience and skill will be a great asset as we begin to implement the agenda that President Bush and I set out.”

what a bunch of crap that is spewing out of the liberal spinners on this issue

Frank 'mcjob' Mckenna is not an asset. he buggered up heathcare and education in this province and for every mc job he did create, his political spinners anounced it three other times

i guess the mis information and mis direction is what we should expect if the power hungry liberals win this election.

at this point,i also suspect the new super burocrates are going to be former federal liberal staffers from ottawa.

to be fair Mckenna's woes were in the works before he took office.
