The answer should be obvious, as long as something is FREE its usage will go up. They should charge something for the service.

Why would you charge for use of a soup kitchen? I think you're missing the point of a soup kitchen

it's these 3 amigos in this photo that I feel sorry for. By the sweat of their brow they crank out hot meals day after day, I'm not even sure if they're being paid, some may be volunteers.
My beef about the poor is they don't try hard enough.
Unless they are suffering from some debilitating disability they should all be volunteering in some way and earning their welfare cheque.
At least Charles is on here running a blog doing something.
That's more than I can say for 90% of welfare recipients.
Charles' blog here is going to be the only game in town with Talk of the Town gone.
This blog is well established and more local people know about it than any bother blog.
Tom Young has a talk show on Rogers, I know, but he talks too much and never shuts up. It's not the same, he dosen't have people call in and talk much the way Talk of the Town did.

Where else can you get,not only good food, but friendly service,in new brunswick?

My beef about the rich is they don't do anything for the billions they suck out of the economy. They fly around to meetings and look at their holdings, then call up politicians and tell them how many billions they want in tax breaks so they can invest it elsewhere.

They even have people so brainwashed that they think the poor should be made to work more and should have to pay for the meals even though they have no money.

My beef with the middle class is that they don't even know what is going on and judge others even though they don't know 90% of the poor.

There are programs and resources that are proven to work to help the poor, why do you think that when you go to Dublin, a city of millions, you see fewer people begging than in Fredericton, a city one tenth the size?

Why do you think if you go to Norway you won't see anybody begging?

That's because some governments are smart, and some populations actually give a rats ass about people. Neither of those happen to be in New Brunswick.
