It's not 'free speech' its 'public decency laws'. You think if I had a sign that had two naked people having sex that I'd be allowed to carry it around because of 'free speech'? Even people who are against abortion have said the signs are too much.
On the record, I'm totally against their method of getting their message across. Many experts have suggested that the photos on the posters are not even "real" abortions. They try to label people who have abortions as killers without considering the circumstances. Spinks does this as well in her blog article. The reality is that many who choose to have abortions have physical limitations, mental conditions, live in poverty, or have chronic medical conditions which would make childbirth difficult or impossible, and possibly impact the baby. Not to mention those people who have no chance of carrying a child to full term. Generally, MOST women take it just a BIT harder than as if they were having their appendix out. I'm so sick of these FEAR MONGERERS on their soapboxes preaching to the rest of us.

Hmmm, any chance of a discussion about this instead of talk of fear mongering? I'm game if anyone is interested.
I was there. It was funny. ha ha Suzie Ryan!
Hmmm, given 5:37's comments I guess not.
