No, I don't think he could, any more than other MLA's could do much for their constituents, unless Bernie wanted it to happen.
Bernie held ALL the power; that's how he operates.
The point is--Tanker didn't try. That's why he's going down on Monday--that and the fiasco last spring.
We still have a regional hospital in Miramichi (for now), but the Lord govt. is slowly squeezing it to death by making conditions impossible for doctors to stay. It is controlled from Fredericton rather than by the local hospital board.
Decision time--do we want a dictator or a team player as our premier???
