I don't believe that the Irvings will allow these citizens to voice their concerns in their papers. Here's two great sites.

Talk of Town isn't reaching the puclic. it reaches the same group of yahoos that hold tha same anti-corporate, anti-progress view.

Please don't be fooled; they give the Board of Trade free press and platform not the public.

I wish I had the money in my bank account the empire and others are spending just to get this pipeline through the city. I hope the powers to be are listining to the public out-cry, but I dough we will win. Although its better than sitting on your hands and saying nothing. If it does go through it will be the end of Saint John as a viable city, but then it gives the Irvings a vast piece of land to build their empire on, I only hope they have the common scence to send Mr. Lord and his government a Christmas card, and a thank you card too.

If people keep fighting enough, the pipeline will cost more ot go through the city than an alternate route. the more studies and concessions the pipeline people are making the better an alternate route will seem to them.

also, the irvings are routing the thing, they will just be put the gas into it. they will take the cheapest route possible.

talk of the town helped shifty political forces to spread lies about the lng tax deal. i wouldn't be surprised if it was doing the same with the pipeline.

the lng tax break is worth about $0.45 million +/-. (they are paying 499,999.66 on it, when a similarly valued property - brunswick sqaure - pays $960,000)

but the folks on talk of the town made it seem like it was supposed to pay $5 million a year. the oil refinery pays full tax at under $5 million and the lng facility will be worth less.

talk of the town let liars lie.

THe LNG Pipeline should start at Coleson Cove and head sraight to US and leave us alone.

That was not good enough because Irvings have another "DREAM". Later all the pieces will fall into place. Unfortunately we will have to pay the price.

With TOTT off the air now, I'll love watching all you little people squirm from frustation, when the LNG Pipeline is placed right in the middle of Rockwood Park.

All of you lost, We Won !!
