Around three years a company was charge in Saint John. This so call company offer a free computer and a crash course on computers.
All they had to do was to sign papers and the Government would pay for it.
I was told from a lot of citizens that many people who were hooked on Dilaudid lined up for the course.
They got their computer and sold it for drugs!
The problem was this?
There were no courses!!! It was all a scam!!!
Guess what? I haven’t heard or read nothing about this issue in the courts.
I’m certain that we’re talking between $250,000 to $500,000!!!!
Does anyone out there know the reason the Saint John Police Force or the office of the prosecutor never pursue this case????

No but keep looking into it; something is wrong.
There has been charges laid in this case.
Isn't there a woman who goes to trial this week or next on this?
Here is the deal, yes there were people hooked on drugs and they sold their computer. Having said that, the crash course in computers they signed up for was supposed to be done using the very computers they sold. So how could they take the course if they sold their computers? The other thing is that these people LIED about their incomes so that they could get as much funding form the government as possible. This was not a scam. People got a computer and a course that was supposed to be completed using their computer. If they sold their computer for drugs, then they couldn't take their course. So we have a bunch of drug addicts scamming the government. Only in New Brunswick would they bother charging the school for the illegal misdeeds of the students.
