SENATOR DON OLIVER A SLUMLORD IN SAINT JOHN????

I must of spent hours on your website. I have to say that I am impressed. There was not one thing on your site that I did not agree with. Maybe because we both know the shitty end of the stick. I would like to share something with you. Perhaps this will give you an idea why I am so pissed off, besides my raging hormones at 7months pregnant.
I recently moved in to a 4 bedroom apt, on the east side of Saint John. Glen Moir Holdings owns these buildings. Six days after i moved in 3 out of 4 bedrooms were soaked from the rain. My carpets were soaked and the smell of cabbage is unbelievable. Soooo i decided to do some reaserch on who owns this place because I want this problem fixed. I found out that Senator Donald Oliver owns these buildings, Mr. Oliver incharge of HUMAN RIGHTS. Human right my ass. I sent him this email:

Mr. Oliver,

I am taking the time today to send you this email in regards to your rental properties, Glen Moir Holdings Ltd. Our family recently moved in to one of your units at 14 Reading Crescent apt 1 in Saint John NB. We moved in October 6th. One week after we moved in it rained and we ended up sucking up 6 inches of water from 3 different bedrooms in our apartment. We contacted Rick Stagg (superintendent). Rick told us that those things happen because of the way it rained against the windows, and that we weren’t the only ones getting water, infact according to Rick there was five other units that had the same problem, including his own apartment, his ceiling leaks. Rick lent us the shop vac and he notified George the maintenance guy about the problem. George told us that there’s not much he can do to fix the unknown problem on a rainy day. George also kindly informed us that he has a budget of 100 dollars per building and that really there’s not much he can do with a budget like that. It's now October 21st and once again it is raining and the three same bedrooms are completely wet. Upon moving in Mr. Stagg informed us that he would be over for us to sign a one year lease. I am not going to sign a one year lease, where there is a potential for a health hazard. In a few months there will be a newborn in one of these wet rooms, I have a 7 year old in a wet room, and currently I share a wet room with my pregnant wife. I wonder how long it will take before mold starts growing under the carpets? This issue is serious, we pay 620 for rent, we would like to stay here and continue on, but we cannot put a price on our health. The last rainfall took us a long time to dry up the carpets by turning the heat up to max and waiting it out. The windows were all steamed up and there was a cabbage smell coming from the carpets. I guess this week after the rain stops, we will have to endure the heat being on max again and the stench coming from our rooms until it dries up.

Attached you will find some pictures of the first rainfall upon moving in. If you would like I can also send you pictures of today’s soggy carpets because they are worse than those I sent you. If you lived here what would you do? No matter if it rains upside down, we should never expect our carpets to be soaked the way they are.

Mr. Henderson

Anyways this email did SHIT. The coward ended up calling his middle man Tony Richard and demanded to know how we found out that the senator owned these buildings...DUH its called the internet....dumb ass. Anyways to make a long story short. Today is our 3rd time having soaked carpets in 3 weeks and we were nicely informed by the senators middle man Tony that its just too bad for us. We either stay in this apt and deal with it or we can move into a 3 bedroom down the street, own by the finest Senator Oliver. Never mind that we are on welfare and we cant afford to move again so soon. never mind that we have hook up charges everytime we move....or even the fact that our baby is going to be born soon and we cant afford to wait for another 4 bedroom to pop up.

So in all....after telling you all this. I thought you could give us a hint on what we should do next. I am tired of taking shit off people, I don't want to get sick staying here, or my kids for that matter. I can't afford to move even if they had another 4 bedroom available. What should we do? Oh and trying to find media contacts to get this on the news is pretty much impossible. We left a message on Roly MacIntyres machine, and seeing the rentalsmen tomorrow. I am not feeling hopeful.

Charles I feel like you have the experience and the knowledge in these types of situations. If you were me what would you do.

Charles if you are too busy to reply then that's okay too, I know you have court coming up. Atleast I got to let it all out.

Thanks
Mrs. Amanda Henderson

Were you on welfare when you got pregnant this time? If so, why?

Just ignore the idiots, that should be removed Charles. As for the 'what to do' remark, that is a good question. If you don't have a lease then there isn't much you can do. Not only does NB have lodging tenants by the short hairs, but its also the only province with that weird provision, I can't quite remember what it is, something about living somewhere for two years before a lease is binding or something.

Anyway, there are two sides to this issue. First, tell Charles where you are, get pictures of the damage. ALWAYS get pictures of damage.

Second, get pictures of the outside as well, find out what other buildings this company owns. Make SURE that this guy is the owner.

Charles should go public. People wonder why business runs the country til they find out that most politicians are the same people. Go public. "Senator Slumlord". Do a website. Once the website is done, start sending it around to the media, like the CBC.

Strategically I think its even smarter to send the press releases to conservative members. The Senate is under seige right now being liberal run, and the tories of course don't like it, and many will take any opportunity to take down the liberals.

What that HOPEFULLY will do is get pressure on this senator to smarten the *&^% up. However, there is a risk since you are living under his roof. However, if you get some media publicity quick, it may be tougher to do that.

Remember that the provincial liberal party and the federal liberal party are one in the same, that means this guy is Shawn Graham's problem too. Again, get a website and send out press releases to anybody who will listen.

The liberals are pretending to pay attention to poverty issues, that may be just politics, but at least it creates an opening. The liberals made a big deal about slumlords, I'd especially contact Able Leblanc because he's got a mouth, but also Ed Doherty because he was elected on that basis.

Most importantly, and I can't stress this enough, tell any and all your friends about Charles' website. He can be strident, but this is where the issues come out. Virtually all the other bloggers from the election have fallen to the wayside, so make sure you find any stories and post them here.

Poor people are noted non voters. More than that, they are not visible, no doubt partly because there are many *&^%$&%$% out there who think the poor are somehow morally deficient.

Most anti poverty groups function on government bankrolls so can only do so much, remember when the food bank stopped telling Charles how many meals they were serving..who do you think was behind that?

Poor people need to get mobilized and get their stories out there and this is an EXCELLENT start. If this person want's to help out more, finding out who owns these buildings should be job one.

Sorry that's not more helpful of the immediate problem. Political pressure may work. If not, sometimes welfare recipients can recieve funds for special projects. In other words, you can try to find where the leaks are and fix them yourselves, perhaps getting all the tenants together and everyone going down to the office. In unity there is strength, and rarely do individuals acting alone get much accomplished.

If its a large house with an angled roof those are quite inexpensive to fix, you can get roof sealant at canadian tire for ten bucks.

Thanks again for the excellent post! It'll definitely be followed up. If you don't mind my asking, how did you find out the owner on the internet? Is it possible to find that out just from an address? I think a cataloguing of all the slumlords in New Brunswick would be a great start to a lobby effort.

The sad thing is, 'green roofs' on apartment buildings require an investment up front, but save these problems in the long run and cut down energy use by close to half. If these slumlords only had a conscience, but then they wouldn't be politicians!

To 11:26 annonymous poster
I typed in Glen Moir Holdings in yahoo and got this

Senator Donald Oliver

Senator Donald Oliver is a Lawyer from Halifax and was born in Wolfville, Nova ... He is President of Glen Moir Holdings Ltd. ... www.bccns.com/wallofhonour/donaldoliver.html

I am 100% sure that he is the owner because after i sent him that email, he put pressure on the middle men to find out how I knew he owned these buildings.

Focus on the Rentalsman, Hendersons: lease on paper or not, you have a right to habitable premises, and your landlord is legally required to make it right. Look up the Residential Tenancies Act on the web, and look respecially at the landlord's obligations under section 3 and the rentalsman's powers under section 6. There's no two-year requirement or other such loophole. When you go see the Rentalsman, make sure they know you know about section 3 and section 6, and press for action. If you don't get it, go to the Chief Rentalsman and then the minister of justice.

Welfare or not, working or not, got nothing to do with anything.

I am going to the rentalsman office first thing in the morning. Thanks for letting me know what to mention. I definalty will be asking for the cheif if they tell me the same as the goon did today.

Ok here goes, Senator I am the mother of these kids and let me tell you I am pissed for sure, I helped my kids by helping them move to a place i thought was a nice home, safe and now i find out my childrens health is in danger, bet your ass I am pissed. Those kids are my life, and that unborn grandchild of mine better come out healthy or you will pay! These kids are good kids, don't drink, don't do dope, work very h ard to get ahead. Sometimes in life we all need a helping hand and I am happy to always be there for them, loving and supporting them. I live in riverview and let me tell you landlords here take care of their apts. They would not have any of their tenants lives in danger of health problems. My kids love their apt, they love living where they are, and if the owners knew of this danger why were they allowed to rent to my kids? Why did they have to pay rent and damage deposit to move into somewhere where my grandchildren are in danger??? All they want is for the problem to be addressed and taken care of so they can live in their new home without fear of being dangerously sick!!! So get off your ass and do something, how would you feel if it were your kids, your grandchildren????not too damn good i would imagine, would you live with that in your LUNGS everyday?? Think not, so I fully encourage my kids to STAND UP AND TAKE A STAND, FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, AND DAMN IT RENTING A MOLD INFECTED APARTMENT WAS NOT WHAT THEY WERETOLD BEFORE TAKING THE PLACE, THEY WERE ASSURED THAT THERE HAD NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM WITH WATER OR MOLD! BULL CRAP THE OWNERS AND KEEPS KNEW THIS PROBLEM EXISTED! They cannot afford to just pull up after paying all the costs of moving and hookups That is not fair!

would make a great LTE.

Put up an email addy, to where people who think this is wrong, can write the senator themselves.

Then post the Human Rights addy, so we can write his office, and ask what is up.

Make all the people aware of the slumlord that they work around.

Find out where he lives and poster his neighborhood.

Let his neighbors know what he is doing.

Human rights?

Anonymous said...

http://sen.parl.gc.ca/doliver/ (He even has a section on human rights?!?!?)

http://www.parl.gc.ca/common/senmemb/senate/isenator_det.asp?senator_id=75&sortord=N&Language=E&M=M (olived@sen.parl.gc.ca)

Let him have it.

By the way, Oliver is a Tory Senator and not a liberal one as referred earlier.

Anonymous said...

go see the rentalsman first. postering his neighborhood will not be constructive. dont waste your time. help yourself.

Anonymous said...

Again Charlies, a great piece of journalism, You are missing your calling, get out there and show your work.

Anonymous said...

Ms. Henderson - I bet that if you contacted the Times Transcript, Telegraph Journal, and ATV & Global News, you'd see some action really quick on your situation. One of them's gotta bite.

Anonymous said...

Yes we would love to contact the media but it seems impossible to reach anyone. I am going to call a few more people. Health Inspector, building inspector and the electrical inspector has been called. Rentalsman have a file now, and we picked up a small claims kit today.

Anonymous said...

Postering the neighbourhood won't do any good that's true, however, simply dealing with the rentalsman may well be a waste of time. If you were given a 'small claims kit' then I'm assuming that the intention is that you must take them to court.

Dealing with it yourself shouldn't be an option, not when the liberals were elected partly on the slumlord issue. However, keep in mind there are good and bad ways to approach people, and good and bad letters. There is no point in making moral arguments. These people aren't stupid, they are fully aware that giving a super $100 a month for maintenance won't do squat.

Get everybody in the apartment building together, at least ones with similar problems and who will join you. In politics individual stories mean nothing, but 'organizations' have clout.

Contrary to the above, without a lease you don't have rights, just go ask a lodging house tenant. A building need only meet building codes, which are rarely inspected on older buildings. If you can find pictures on the roof where the leaks are, then you may be able to get a building inspector there.

One of the pictures looks like it is right below a window, if it was raining hard then it may just be a matter of caulking the window (thats just a guess)

Anonymous said...

Charles, you need to get back on the meds. Your comments don't make any sense in this thread. You were supposedly laughing uncontrollably at the first comment yet it's not clear why you're so entertained. The question was IF the woman got pregnant while on welfare and if so why would someone on welfare get pregnant knowing that money isn't plentiful. Nobody said people on welfare don't know how to get pregnant - not sure how you dreamed up that part.

Here's another question. Why would someone on welfare get a 4 bedroom apartment if money is tight and there are only (soon to be) 2 children? It makes no sense to waste money on an extra bedroom when that money could be better spent on essentials.

Anonymous said...

they did caulking on the windows and it didint make a difference.

Anonymous said...

As far as the last comment about getting pregnant while on Welfare. I do not see what being on welfare has anything to do with things For your information I was working 50 plus hours per week this summer while my wife was on bed rest. Unfortunately the business I am sometimes has short contracts. And unlike yourself, I guess i'm not perfect like you and don't have money coming out of my ass. I have been with my wife for 5 years, this is the first time on Welfare, not like it is any of your business, and we have tried for 5 years and unsuccesfull getting pregnant until now.
AS far as why we would get a 4 bedroom.... Well seeing how a 3 bedroom was 40 dollars cheaper doesn't really make sense. Plus with a 4 bedroom the extra room for the computer... OH LET ME GUESS... People on Welfare are not supposed to have a computer either???? Unfortunately, I guess everyone can't be as perfect as you are.

Charlie,....Everyone may not like you, but without you alot of problems in this world would go un noticed. Keep up the awesome work. And hell.. If they don't like what we have to say, then go read someone elses blogs that you agree with and stop waisting our time.

Anonymous said...

Oh look who posted another comment about the welfare issue? The person who did the very first comment! No suprise there.

Let me guess would you like to be our accountant? Show us how to spend our money?

Why don't you call up the loser senator and show him how to spend his? Quite clearly you don't give a shit about the real issue here. THE ISSUE IS ABOUT THIS SLUMLORD.....NOT THE FACT THAT I AM ON WELFARE (temporarirly) WHICH COULD END NEXT MONTH>>>>

NOOOOOO YOU ARE SO DAMN FOCUSED ON THE WELFARE THAT YOU CAN'T READ THE REAL ISSUE.

P.S If my husband gets this new contract, next month will you treat me more like a human being? I wont be getting a check then.

Should I go an get an abortion, because I am on welfare?

Who needs meds? if you don't like Charles then why do you come here? Who has the issues?

Anonymous said...

Can we stick to the real issue here?
The pictures says it all.
If there was no mention of welfare at all, then some comments wouldnt of been posted.

Anonymous said...

Why would someone go and get pregnant while on welfare? How do you know she got pregnant while on welfare? Would it make a difference if she was pregnant while working full time? Would it make a difference if a doctor put her out of work to stay on bedrest? Why is that your main concern? So they have a 4 bedroom.....sometimes people have a lot of stuff, and besides, the 4th room is big enough for a small office. But again, why is her being pregnant with a 4 bedroom that is pretty cheap the big picture here? Its not, the big picture here is the building itself. So get your head out of your ass and stop being so god damn shallow.

Heres the latest update.

The health inspector is coming thursday at 10:30. He told us not to sleep in the bedrooms based on the fact that they smell very strong like cabbage(skunk).

The letter from the health inspector will be passed on to our case manager.

Speaking of our case manager, he took down all the information about the senator and the company thats running these buildings. Not sure what hes going to do with this information. I hope something will come out of this whole ordeal.

The rentalsman lady emailed us back, shes going to find out why Glen Moir Holdings didint send our damage deposit to their office, and also try to negotiate our money back. We want our rent back for oct, and damage deposit.

It only makes sense to get it back seeing how 6 days after moving in our nightmare began.

And just like the goons over here said...."we dont rent out apt's with problems like these we keep them vacant" Well if you are not going to rent this place out after we leave, then why are you charging us to stay here, in these conditions.

More updates to come when the health inspector gets here ....

$620 for a 4 bedroom apartment... sometimes you get what you pay for.

Anonymous said...

I would love to be able to afford 620.00 a month for rent! I live in a very tiny 2 bedroom apartment with my hubby and my son and we pay $400.00. We are the working poor....we can barely afford it! I think we should just quit work and go on welfare so we can survive!

Anonymous said...

$620.00 a month? Boy I wish I could afford that! I live in a very TINY 2 bedroom apt for $400.00 a month. We are the working poor! I think it's finally time I give up trying to be a decent human being and not expect everybody else to take care of me and working my ass off to just keep drowning. I think it's time that I give it all up and go on welfare and let the people take care of me and sit at home and bitch about how unfair life is.

Anonymous said...

Again missing the point. Just bashing the fact that we are on welfare.

Oh By The Way Charles, He just the job today!!! Youpii!!

Looks like as of next month (dec 1st) we wont be getting welfare anymore.
Maybe then people will shut the #$#$ up about me being on assistance and treat me like a person with a slumlord issue.
Geez I am such a bad person for running to welfare in time of need eh?
To the last cry baby who is complaining about wokring and not being able to afford to pay 620 for rent. Hey thats not my problem, maybe you should stop acting like your shit dont stink and go get subsity.
If you make under the "braket" you are intitled to something too.

AGAIN MISSING THE POINT.
The point here is that we are being taking for a ride by slumlords. How would you like it if that happened to you? Would you sleep in those wet moldy rooms? NO probably not.
So instead of whinning to me that you work and you are poor go make an appointment with HRDC and tell them you need a little help and stop crying about it? Or are you too proud of yourself for asking for help?
You pay your taxes too dont you? Nothing wrong with help.

So after December 1st....come on here and post a comment about the real issue as I wont be on welfare anymore idiot.

BRING IT ON.... I know lots of ignorant people like you. Too blind too see the real issue. Just want to nagg at the finer details. What if I was a black french person on welfare? Would you pick on the fact that I am black and french too? Typical ignorant people. Flapping their gums about things they are not educated on.
If i would of left the fact that I was on TEMPORARY assistance, you would of found something else to make a nasty comment about.
Get a life.

STICK TO THE POINT!

Anonymous said...

OH and to the cry baby.. i forgot to mention. PEOPLE ON WELFARE ARE NOT DECENT HUMAN BEINGS?
WHY would I bitch about how life is unfair..... WHAT is unfair cry baby is that these slumlords are not doing anything about our apt, and 3 weeks after moving in, we have to move out.
Once again. You the one crying because you are "drowing". Why don't you have some dignity and get some help. thats what its there for.
Cry babys.
Hey you have my address why dont you come over to my apt and we can talk about what kind of loser I am. i love talking to shallow people who miss the point. Do you need bus fare?
COME ON OVER

14 reading crescent apt 1 in Saint john.

Lets talk about me being on welfare since september...at the same time you can congradulate my husband on finding a permanent full time job and tell him that he should of applied for a master card to keep us going for 2 months, instead of applying for "Assistance".

COME ON OVER I WILL BE GLAD TO HAVE A NICE CHAT WITH YOU... or are you too much of a coward? Leaving Anonymous comments.

I get what you are saying Hendersons. That working poor person is probably on your slumlords payroll. You have got to be kidding. The rent is 400 a month and they dont make enough to survive. Time for a change of job. God when I was younger, i used to work a minimum wage job along with my roomate and we could afford 585 for a two bedroom. You can't get any cheaper than that in Saint John. I don't know where they live to be paying 400 a month, must be nice to find something that cheap.
Sounds like they might have a drinking or gambling problem if they are drowning. Decent people they are.

Anonymous said...

TOO BAD WHAT THEY THINK. I GOT HIRED TODAY ON THE SPOT....I AM HAPPY ABOUT IT AND NO WELFARE HATERS GOING TO RUIN MY HAPPINESS. IF THEY CANT AFFORD 400 IN RENT THEN THATS THEIR PROBLEM. IF WE ARE NOT DECENT PEOPLE FOR BEING ON ASSISTANCE FOR TWO MONTHS THEN I GUESS WE ARE NO DECENT PEOPLE. I DONT CARE WHAT THEY SAY. I AM NOT BACKING DOWN FROM SENATOR OLIVER OR GLEN MOIR HOLDINGS GOONS. I WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE MOVES IN AFTER WE LEAVE AND HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS.
BY THE WAY CHARLIE, WE HAVE OUR LETTER FROM THE LANDLORD DEEMING THIS PLACE UNHABITABLE. SO THEY ARE ACTUALLY ADMITTING THAT WE SHOULD NOT BE LIVING IN THIS APT. THEY GAVE US THE OPTION TO MOVE INTO ANOTHER APT OR BE OUT OF THIS PLACE BY MIDNIGHT ON THE 11TH OF NOVEMBER. BY THEN I SHOULD HAVE MY FIRST PAYCHECK FROM MY NEW JOB. I'LL BE MAKING DOUBLE THEN WHAT WE GET ON WELFARE. HOWS THAT FOR A WELFARE BUM.
IF YOU WELFARE HATERS WANT TO BASH PEOPLE ON WELFARE, WHY DONT YOU GO FIND THE ONES WHO HAVE 5 KIDS LIVING IN HOUSING ON WELFARE FOR YEARS AND YEARS. BET THEY CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.
WE GO ON IT FOR 2 MONTHS AND WE ARE PEICES OF SHIT FOR DOING SO.
STICK TO THE POINT, OR DON'T COMMENT AT ALL.

Hey if you think 620 is cheap go talk to the cry babys who left a comment about paying 400 for a two bedroom. I guess they must get what they paid for too.

I get what I pay for, so let me guess slumlords can do what they want and %$^% the rest. NICE!

it doesnt matter what you pay for rent. the responsibility of a landlord is to provide a safe livable environment for their tenants.

Did starting a pissing match on the internet do anything to solve your problem? you sound like nasty nasty people.

Anonymous said...

What the hell do people do when only one person is able to work, and that one person has a great paying job one day, and the next he has nothing. Is he supposed to pull money out of his ass to put a roof over wis wife and child's heads? How is he supposed to feed them? So while hes busting his ass looking for a job, what is he supposed to do in the meantime. Not ask for help? All those years that they paid taxes, they can't ask for a little help in return? No,, the smart thing would be for them to suffer until another job is found. Why is everyone treating them like criminals? They are not sitting on welfare abusing it like some people. Why don't you go attack the people that are on welfare living with boyfriends that make 2000$ a month.....huh, why dont you. Istead, you treat these people who just need a little help like f@$@ing criminals. Give me a god damn break would you.

What are we supposed to do. Sit here and let people degrade us because we are temporarily on assistance? The nasty people are the ones who come here to talk about the fact that we are on assitance and pay 620 for rent. I am trying to defend myself. Meanwhile the real issue here is a water damaged apt, and how the lanlord is gettin away with it. I asked charles to post it on his blog to see if anyone out there had any suggestions. I am grateful to the ones who left great comments but i don't appreciate being discriminated against for being on assistance since september when my husbands contract ended. Which thankfully he just got a new one yesterday. Who's being nasty?

Anyways now I realise that I am wasting my time on here. I have 11 days to find another apt, or I wont get my damage deposit back. In the end we will see them in court, so it doesnt much matter anyways. We also have a liberal politician working on our side to put a stop to this slumlord senator.
So to the haters out there.... go ahead and say what you want. Call me every name in the book. Someday it will be you cashing your welfare check. Shit happens, even to good people.

I worry about their health, my unborn grandchild and my 7 year old grandaughter. Nobody should have to live under those conditions and for gods sake they just moved in less than 3 weeks ago, THOSE SLUMLORDS KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM, AND THEY ARE PUTTING MY CHILDRENS HEALTH AT RISK! I guess it's easier to jump to conclusions, escalate a situation and verbally attack anyone who dares to ask a question. If being on welfare was irrelevant, it shouldn't have been mentioned in the first post. You're taking your pent up anger out on the wrong targets.

People in general have an issue with people who go on welfare and do not attempt to get off welfare. That is passive abuse of the system, to sit back, collect the cheques and do nothing to better the situation. You're not in that category, that's good. That's how the system is supposed to work. You haven't sat around for years abandoning all personal responsibility like way too many people in this country do.

A bit of advice. Posting a comment in all capital letters is the equivalent to shouting. Using curse words also doesn't reflect well on a person.

Thanks for the advice, the next time someone tells us that we are not decent people, I'll say thank you and move on.
I guess letting people who don't get it piss me off makes me just like them.
anyways thanks again.

P.S back to real issue please?

I wish we could have comments about the slumlords and what people think we should do. Really, me being on welfare has nothing to do with the situation.
Would you agree?

I guess the one who said to call robert jones was shouting as well. lol

I am sure they are thankful for your etiquette tips.
Why are people so blind? Lets just bash them, and read that in every comment, they have been defending themselves for the non relevent issue at hand.
The Senator works for human rights. What is human rights? That is what they are fighting for.
I say, if someone is going to degrade you on a public website for being on assistance then why not defend yourself. Would you like it if people assumed that you were taking the system for a ride accepting hand outs?
I read earlier a comment left by a woman who said shes the working poor. Again, what do this have to do with the slumlord issue.
I say, if the rentalsman can't help you because the issue is too large, then the next step is to do exactly what you did, call the inspectors. The person who said to call the media is right. What news cast wouldnt like to hear about Mr. Donald Oliver. After all according to my reaserch he's been a senator since 1990 (PC).
Was it not the Liberals who said they would crack down on the slumlord issues?
Hendersons I also read that you were told to move by the 11th. I would move as soon as possible for your health. I would however still persue this matter. Take it from someone that knows. I've been taken for a ride many times in my younger days. I didint fight. Cudos to you for getting the word out there.

Hey Girl,
You know who this is, I'm using your own computer to leave you a comment....lol>
Late night tonight sorry you're so sick. I still love ya.
Unlike the NB commenter, telling you that you shouldnt of mentioned that you were on welfare to begin with, I think you had the right to mention that you didin't have the money to move so soon. That makes the situation ever harder to deal with.
No worries now eh?? Your hunny got that new job. The haters will always be haters. No matter if the glass was half full, they will see it as half empty. Hard to believe that most of them are "kind" canadians eh?
Love Ya/.Je t'aime

We found a three bedroom, we are moving out by the 11th so we can get our damage deposit back.
Not that we want to stay in here any longer than that.
Our messages and story has been forwarded to a lot of people, we sent pictures too.
Apparently there is already an investigation happening for Glen Moir Holdings.
Small Claims paper have been filed. Thank You to all who seen the issue for what it is.
