Yes he is an honest person.
He does what he can for people of NB.
The decision about the Tolls for the Harbour Bridge.
I can't believe how we are treated on the Westside of Saint John.

NB is a very large province we all pay our taxes and our money goes to all roads and bridges. There have been many new bridges that cost millions throughout NB.

Fredericton has four bridges or many more in there area.

Saint John has the Reversings Falls Bridge which is a path from the Westside to the North. We also have the Harbour Bridge a medium size one that takes us from the Westside to the uptown, north or east.

For 38 years we have been paying tolls towards the debt, at least that is what we thought; seems the money was used for other things. Sorry but we are not second class citizens we have rights too. We paid our tolls at 15 cents day after day, many times a day for 38 years.

Remind me again why we should pay when no one else does pay in NB to just have an access to cross to go to work. Reversing Falls becomes traffic jammed and is not always dependable.

Lets put a charge to come in the McKay Highway area and you will see them come down. Something is very wrong to treat us like second rate.

Now they want to charge 50 cents which can be a burden to people who are struggling to pay for gas, car insurance, repairs and so much more. So what some say they don't need to cross it very often or never. Many of us don't have a choice.

To say the V-pass eliminates the accidents; sorry but since we have had the V-pass people drive so fast that they are causing the accidents. One thing that has improved but as an extra cost to taxpayers is police are posted there most days with a radar gun. Still they can't always be there so people drive through like they have the right away and drive at 80 km. ( Speed is 50 appraching.) Fifty cents is gouging the people who live on the west side of the city.

Call it a toll tax, bridge tax, poll tax but it not right and that loan should have been forgiven. It has been a make work project for 38 years and then they have plans to charge 75 cents. Lies along the way and decisions changed through the years.

We pay more taxes, receive less in wages and certainly have billionaires that get tax breaks --
Why not for the average person who are gouged already.

Oh yes here is another one our Mayor for the city of Saint John gets a gift of a 200,000 thousand each year for the Harbour Passage. Provincially and Federally we pay our taxes we are not accepting this extra tax.

This is disgusting and the Port Authority have taken us for a ride long enough. We wouldn't mind for the 15 cents to go to the repairs that are needed now but not the previous debt. This loan should be forgiven or like all other bills share the cost with all of the NB taxpayers. Respect is not what we are getting in Saint John.
No one is helping the people of Saint John.

Our Mayor does not care as long as he has the cash. Zed said he tried but I question that one. I emailed a few months ago and wanted a reply got nothing.
Left a message with Jack Keir and Abel and now I am writing to Premier Graham. Decisions that frankly could be changed but people need to step up and complain loudly and not just among your friends. People are very madd but are feeling discouraged.
Christmas is here and people are stressed enough. They know when to ram things through.

Can someone get me someone to complain to that will do something to put the pressure on.
Everyone seems to have their heads buried deep and see nothing around them. As long as they are doing find who cares about anyone else!

If anything there should be a toll at the entry point in the bridge in Campbellton because thats the bridge all the quebecers take to get to work!

But there is no proof that Abel is the most honest, was there a quiz that we missed or are you calling all other MLA's liars?

Where do you come up twisting my words. You have an opinion but accuse me of calling people liars. Start something that is not there.
The important part was missed all together. We should not be treated different then anyone else in NB.
You must be the same person who insults as many people as you can. Especially how you hate blog; get a another person to get off topic must be your job.

What does the Campbellton Bridge have to do with Saint John? Saint John should have this loan forgiven ot at the very least leave the 15 cents. Saint John has become the biggest joke. Billionaires get tax breaks and we, the average taxpayer gets dumped on with extra taxes. Somethings we should standup for and this toll is one.
