He's a hockey coach and should keep his views on political issues outside of the dressing room!!! Good work!!!
If he wish to be a preacher on other issues? Go somewhere else!!!

I don't agree. It was not a political issue. He didn't say you must support the war. This was about supporting the troops. And this was also about Quebec flag and the Canadian flag. This was also about the player being a role model. This was also about the player being a "team player" I support the coach.
Supporting the troops in a volunteer army is supporting the war - these people joined up because either they believe that war is the answer to the world's problems or because they were exploiting a system thinking they would not get called to actions.
I disagree, This coach should have been sent to the street. First, The coach did try to dictate his thoughts on his players. Right or wrong this player has the rights to refuse to sigh his name to anything. Second, this has nothing to do the Quebec flag. Third, if this coach was not satisfied with this player, he could have traded him instead of branding him as a separatist and maybe destroy this young mans chance to play hockey. This is what is wrong with this part of this country, we are all bigits. and haven't the guts to investigate the true facts. I sure found out gossip is better listening than the truth, and can hurt twice as bad.

I also fully support the Coach AND our troops overseas! This is NOT "wonderful news" in my opinion.
Charles says if this coach wishes to be a preacher, go somewhere else. Ironic. I feel the same way about the "God's Minutes" on here.
