Emotional is some of it; the disgusting acts against any human being or animal is too much for strangers to bare let alone your loved one. Society has some responsibility to try and not repeat things in the news that cause years of pain by the stroke of a pen.

The case is in the courts and in the mean time no additional coverage is nessary.

After all is processed and a decision is made then and only then should his name be mentioned.

There is a segment of society who enjoy other people suffering and some just like to make the almighty dollar at others pain and loss of their heart and soul.

Prayers go out to all who loved these people and all who actually care and have been put through this hell over and over again everyday, every hour, every minute and every second. When this over in the courts the pain will still continue. Justice needs to be served but it will never come for these family members as long as they live.

Easy for the person who did these things; no excuses, he doesnot feel any remorse or guilt and life for him will never change as long as he is breathing.

This has been going on for what, about two or three weeks now, I think that the Crown and Defence atournys have made all of the arguments they can make. It is time they either find him Guilty or Innocent of the terrible crimes he has allegedly committed, and stop wasting our hard earned tax payers dollar on this issue, if he is truly the DNA Evidence should be somewhat conclusive. at best he should be remanded to a Psychiatric Facility for extensive evaluation of his condition.

Either way the way he is now he is not emotionally fit to be in general society.

Charles you should stop taking pictures of the family and stop blogging about them. It's enough that the main stream media are all over this. They too should leave them alone.

These people sufered enough as it is lets leave them alone and read or watch if Despres is found guilty or inocent and move on.

Long story short let the family grieve on their own and in private.

As a member of the Fulton family I would like to let people know our view on this...Fred Fulton was a fun loving gentle person. He always told you he loved you and was famous for his guitar playing and his funny facial expressions. Verna Decarie was also a loving, caring person. She was well known for her love of cooking and she was without a doubt blessed with fine cooking skills. Fred was lucky to have her in his life for the past 10 years. Our family was also blessed to have her as part of our family during this time. Fred lived on the Slope road for over 50 years and never had any problem what so ever with anybody. The fact that this monster moved next door and made their life a living hell, will be something that we will never be able to comprehend. This was without a doubt cold blooded pre-meditated first degree murder. During the past three weeks of the court proceedings, Gregory Despres has showed no remorse and can often be seen smirking and smiling at some of the gruesome details of this case. Gregory Despres will do hard time for this and let it be known when the time comes for parole for this murderer that the family will be there to make sure that he never sees freedom again. The fact that Fred fought him to the end is the reason why Gregory Despres will not see a window without bars for the rest of his life. Fred and Verna, we will make you one promise...we will fight for justice until the end, just like you did on that tragic night. Although we lost you tragically, the good memories that you left us will be the ones that we will remeber and keep close to our hearts....hope things are going good in Heaven....

Our Village will be forever tormented with the memory of what that monster Gregory Despres has done to dear Fred and Verna.
I did not have the honour nor the privilidge to know Fred and Verna personally but I do share in the loss that our community is dealing with.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Fred and Verna's families. We can never comfort you enough to get you through this tragic time but please know that you have the thoughts and prayers of your community behind you. Bless all of you!
