Because they aren't in power. That's how it works. While in opposition they need votes and have little to do anyway, so they are everywhere, just like the liberals were for the past six years.
Then, once elected, they don't need the people anymore and don't want to hear from them. Lamrock was everywhere while in opposition, now you can't find him, and he's not a small guy.
What lieberal would want to be found. No one will even admit to voting for them now. And I can believe it. Back to embarrassing to be a New Brunswicker!
The above comment says the opposition has little to do thats why they attend all of these things, therefore you must be saying that the liberal members must be too busy to attend.
If the liberals are hiding as you say they sure do a poor job of it, you see more liberal member around town than conservatives. Go to the market on saturday, i bet bye the time you leave you will have run into at least 2 liberal members.
Yes,going to the market means that they are busy. They are doing an absolutely wonderful job.I especially like the tax hike and the caisse populaire bailout. And who wanted the HST rebate on home fuel anyway? We can rely on global warming to keep our houses heated.Don't you agree?????
They are out there on the steps for the very same reason the Liberals where before them. As opposition they have can complain about anything and everything and never have to offer a solution. A pretty sweet deal actually, little responsibility, little power and the ability to say any silly thing you want knowing full well no one will remember 4 years down the road....you have to wonder why any party actually wants to win an election....HEY....maybe we have it all wrong...maybe the LOSERS...actually form the government and the WINNERS become the opposition.
Especially Jody Carr. I had a chance to sit in an important meeting once of the committee that he chaired as public presentations were being made. He was incredibly rude and sat through most of the presentations talking to the young lawyer from the clerk's office who was sitting beside him. He had no clue as to what was being discussed and tried to be like his hero Bernard. When he finally got appointed to the Cabinet, he demonstrated the meaning of the Peter Principle. The only reason he was out at that protest was because he thought it would look good - and it did get his picture in some media. I never saw him attend any protests when he was a member of the government. Guess his colours have changed or something. LOL.
It is pretty rich for Jody Carr to promise the world and say how much the Conservatives are upset to see the Harper Government cut $20-million to New Brunswick for Early Learning and Child Care. The PC's were the last province in Canada to sign the agreement with the previous federal Liberal Government. Carr must think people have short memories. and Lord's former spin doctor are pictured here.

Just for the record? I did see Jody Carr chatting with Protesters when his Party ran the Government.
He's one of a few who would go to meet the protesters.
I might add that Carmel Robichaud was there also....
