interesting information: the city of fredericton is planning to legislate skateboarding under the transportation act. This would require skateboarders to wear helmets, but allow them to travel around the city. As it is, there is no law for wearing your helmet skateboarding. I am the kid with the blue jacket, and i am completely against the helmet by-law. If a law was to be made, they should look at the amount of head injuries that result from skateboarding. It is probably less then for driving a car... whats next, helmets in cars???
You don't say why your against the by-law. You say the number of head injuries are "probably" less than driving a car but that do you actually know how many? Are against it because helmets don't work...or because you just don't want to wear one?
