A WORD FITLY SPOKEN IS LIKE APPLES OF GOLD IN
SETTINGS OF SILVER.
( PROVERBS 25:11 *NKJV )
Now it is written: SO SHALL I HAVE AN ANSWER FOR HIM
WHO REPROACHES ME, FOR I TRUST IN YOUR WORD.
For YOU ARE MY HIDING PLACE AND MY SHIELD; I HOPE
IN YOUR WORD. ( PSALMS 119:42 ) & ( PSALMS 119:114 )
Therefore Charles, today we will take a humorous look at a
message that I received this week from one of our Brother's
in Christ. I hope that it will bring a laugh or two to begin your
Proof That Scripture Can Protect You
Now an elderly woman had just returned to her home from an
evening of Church services when an intruder startled her. She
caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables
and yelled, "Stop! ACTS 2:38," she shouted. The burglar stopped
in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explained
what she had done.
As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the
burglar, "Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did
was yell a Scripture at you."
"Scripture?" replied the burglar. "I though she said she had
an Ax and Two 38's!"
Incidentally ACTS 2:38 reads: "REPENT AND BE
BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST SO THAT
YOUR SINS MAY BE FORGIVEN."
Have a Great Weekend Charles, and don't forget to go
to Church tomorrow. Amen.
