They strongly believe the woodlot should be left alone.....

Andrea Bear Nicholas informed us yesterday that the woodlot is land that had been taken from the natives and they had fought hard to keep (I guess that would be true of all land in NA, but this was a more recent battle). The funny thing is that the EIA states that there is no land claim or significance to aboriginals. She also said that other land grant Universities give free tuition to aboriginals, but UNB does not.
