These people ruined my graduation. Why did they have to protest this at the graduation? They are inconsiderate a@@ holes. I supported them until they pulled this stunt, now they can kiss my a@@. Come on big box stores, I can't wait to go shopping.
Charles if you support these people then you are one of them, but I know you and I know that you have a heart and will not support these inconsiderate a@@ holes.
Man I am so mad that I am crying. My parents come to UNB to see me graduate and what to they see these pricks protesting in front of the Aitken Centre. Graduate have nothing to do with this so why do they butt in and ruined their day?
Ah yes, there you go again, attending an event for the sole purpose to be a disruption. To my knowledge, UNB is private property, not public property, so did you ask all of those graduates' permission to take their photos? Of course you didn't. Private Property + Photos Without Permission = Breaking the law.
Hahaha, we did not ruin anything. We stood on the side without yelling and peacefully gave out ribbons. Now you have an extra memento of this great day. I talked to a grad before I came and she said it was a good idea. You need to be a little less delicate my fragile comrade.
Yes it did ruined the ceremonies. This day was for the graduates and their families to celebrate not for inconsiderate a@@ holes to protest. This was not the place or time for this protest. My parents did not need to walk by people yelling stuff about the woodlot and seeing an idiot dressed as an animal making a scene. My parents did not have anything to do with the woodlot and to tell you the truth they didn't care about it at the time because they were there for one thing only and that was the graduation. And were was the campus security? Why did they not ask them to leave?
And yes this woodlot is private property and they can do what they want with it. Hey you have a computer look it up.
And you Charles, standing up for them and supporting them makes you just as bad as them. SHAME SHAME SHAME, now I truly see that you are just an attention hog and that you will support anything as long as it gets attention.
I don't care that you took pictures of the graduates and blogged about it, the main reason you were there was the protest, and you are actually supporting them even though it was at an inappropriate time and location.
Well my opinion of you has just changed. I will no longer support you in your causes.

I don't see how it could have ruined the ceremonies. All they did was standing on the side.
Just for the record, I didn’t know anything about the graduation. I was told to go at the Library.
All is not lost. I took some wonderful pictures of you guys and gals.
Do I still support the battle to save the woodlot? Of course I do!!!
But you have the right to your opinion.

I don't want to sound too snobby, but your post at 10:02 PM was very well written. Good show.
Jessica, university is a place for the exchange of ideas. The protest is more important than pomp and circumstance.
I'm not sure of ownership, but just like Charles probably recalls of the SJTCC, private spaces can have public uses.
Also:
Private Property + Photos Without Permission = Breaking the law
is not a legal standard I have ever heard.
