Yesterday, he was served an eviction notice.
This is a slumlord at work and I believe that he’s fooling around with the wrong guy.

I know Tim very well and he’s not the type to back down from a fight especially if this includes his daughter.

Well I have takin the First Step toward this situation which included among other things a trip to the Rentalsman's Office.
More on this later this evening.
I will try very hard to sit down and write it out as best I can.
Intesting story to be sure, but you fail to tell us why he was evicted? People don't just get evicted out of the blue.
THen you say he's going to fight it. Why even bother if the place is that bad? You say he has a slum landlord.
Move on then, Tim, it says you have the rent money, find yourself a decent landlord and a decent place.

There has to be a logical reason behind this.

Right now all of his ADHD brains are working overtime.
Later on tonight when he settles down and his daughter is in bed, he'll sit down and write a detail account.

A slum lord or not, if by the first week of the month of May you still owe rent for April he is perfectly within his right to serve an eviction notice. If he can't work things out with the Landlord he will have no choice but to leave. I would suggest that labeling him a slum lord in here isn't doing Tim Smith any favours.
People here don't know the story so why tell Tim what to do? Who raised you? What kind of loser quitters are you? Give em hell Tim.
I have to agree that if you owe money for April which is now past then the landlord has every right to serve a notice to vacant. I am sorry but if you don't pay your rent then you should be evicted. It is the landlord that is losing out here not Mr Smith. I am sorry Charles but I cannot agree with you on this one.
People have a lot to say and judge and they don't care to understand.
Tim will come out better for it and will get a better palce soon. That does not change the injustices for the next person. Does it ? But you don't care because you don't care about other people!
