Maybe that would be a good thing then perhaps there wouldn't be hoodlums robbing innocent people on it. Actually leaving the bridge as it is is probably the best thing you could do for it...stripping off the protective layers of existing rust just exposes new metal to rusting and paint never lasts long after all its a foot bridge now not a train bridge.

too bad the bridge is not part of the legislature, Dan Bustiers would have it painted by now!
But he would also post video cameras all over the bridge!!!
