Charles seems to be asking whether or not the Gleaner will give any coverage to the trial of J.D. Irving Ltd. regarding the destruction of several heron nests during a wood-clearing operation last year.
The Gleaner will likely put forward lots of other stories like the St. Thomas poster story (which is very serious) but will probably bury any story on the trial of J.D. Irving Ltd.
Let's check the paper in the coming days and see if we are right.
Ken Langdon,WOW,He been a great person in the woodstock area and great worker,very intelligent. Irving strangles entrenpeneurship. Why anyone would buy controlled newspapers,is beyond me.
