Charles,

Being Drunk is just part of the problem ! fact is that his negligence was a direct cause of a persons death.

Now apply the same Logic to Ashley Smith and see how many go to jail for Her Death?

OK now for another what about the 4 Officers that Murdered the poor Man in the BC Airport will they go to Jail for Negligent Homicide after all he died as a direct result of thier actions or inactions?

Why anyone would trust anyone in the place of authorty especially a Government Employee would have to be Crazy as these people do not account to the People

All these peoples actions caused another to be injured and die !

First and foremost, I want to say that I sincerely appreciate the brave and difficult task that Our Men and Women in Law Enforcement
have to contend with,Eeach and everyday, in order that they may Serve and Protect all Citizens from harm. There task is far from easy or a cakewalk,.

However,The fact of the matter is, tthat there are some in Law Enforcement, who are somewhat Triggerhappy.

The Example, would be the gentleman who was killed by a taser when the officer kept stunning him after they officers had the man down and subdued.

I would say that officer or officers, should be charged with either murder or at the least Criminal Leglegance causing death, along with Un-lawful use of a weapon.

I realize that that is a harsh statement, and I do not say it lightly, but the facts speak for themselves.

Right, and anarchy would be a much better solution than what we have now. Give yer head a shake!

The biggest problem with Law Enforcement is the way they are Trained to Kill 1st ask Questions later and if caught ,dont worry theres a Million Layers of Lawyers and Bueracracy to get through to get to them and they know it!
Next Lie released in the Media is they will say is that he Tazered Himself or that hes really Alqeda!
These Officers are Truly Inhuman!

Im starting to lose any and all respect for anything with a badge!

Anonymous 4:22 - beautiful comment.

I've got to say - Anarchy sounds good in principle, but how do you force everyone not to start their own little societies again?

Hey - Democracy sounds good in principle too, until you how easily we're manipulated.

I say we ask the aliens what to do.

Most of us respect all police and law abiding officers. This is something that is very wrong and stop making excuses. Just because you are the police you still have to treat people with some kind of common sense ; that did not happen. It doesnot matter what took place by this gentleman; he was held for 10 hours and no one helped him.

Ashley is an angel in heaven; she suffered more then we all know. Something tells me she was abused in many ways.

If anything did happen it hopefully will be dealt with.

I have lost faith in the actions of all these people. Yes there are good cops but they were not there in these two cases.

We need to be protected from this kind of treatment. It can happen to anyone. Taser should be banned.

I can find guidelines for prisons in Nova Scotia but New Brunswick does not even have guidelines written anywhere as to how prisoners are to be treated or how things are to be run while a person is in custody? I guess they have no rules?
Well Maybe i`ll try the 12 Planks of The Communist Manifesto which is what our Government does seem to follow!

This is indeed a very questionnable situation and obvious out come.

I wonder what else (tools or training) the policemen could have used to restrain this out of control aggressive and destructive 6 foot tall angry non sense grown up man to stop him from his path of airport disruption and destruction ?
99% of people don't behave like he didin airport. How should they prepare for that type behavior/public disturbance ?

You should rethink what you just said. Most people don't get treated this way at an airport; it was the other way around. IF THIS MAN WAS TRAETED FAIRLY HE WOULD OF NOT HAD TO OVER REACT. Funny how you like the police did not see what really took place.

Make this seem like he deserved this treatment saddens me and makes me sick.

You only see what you want too see. Hopefully this man even after death will get justice. You must have a very small mind to not see the wrong that happen to this man.

Animals in Transit to Slaughterhouses seem to have more Safety rules than People when they are Travelling? Just before his Execution I Wonder what was going through that Guys head as he was surrounded?

There is another story today of a tasering in England of a man in a diabetic coma and another from Ontario of a drunk driver. The Premier of Alberta says he will review the use of tasers in that province.

Please note there is now an online petition to ban the taser. You can find the link for it on my blog: http://blogzone3.blogspot.com/

Thanks Charles for your help on this issue.
