DO YOU WISH TO EMAIL THE SENATE ABOUT THE IRVING'S MONOPOLY????

I’ve just received an email from the individual who is supposed to drive me to Moncton on Thursday.

I have to give this person a call. I hope this individual didn’t change their mind in attending this very important hearing?

Ok..yesterday afternoon was pretty interesting.

I noticed the hits to my blog site were coming in huge numbers. I really didn’t know what was going on?

I made a little search and someone wrote in a local Website this note-

is why I don't work for Irving . . .

I just thought I'd share this. I usually don't pay any attention to Charles LeBlanc's spam, but this is pretty interesting. Not sure how much truth there is
to this, but it certainly doesn't surprise me.

Now, the tally of original [here] staff who have quit/left/been fired since the buyout ... Matt, Judith, Ingrid, Patrick, Jud, Mark, Josh, Mike (I
think that's it) ... EIGHT! Keep in mind, we had a pretty small staff to start with.

Then is was followed by

By reading his blog, you can tell that he's got ADHD. By comparing the present situation in New Bunswick to Germany, you can tell he's an idiot.

And then

Oh, I'm not saying you should read Charles' blog. It's terrible. This guy is a nut. And he can't even spell. BUT this was the only place I could find any info
about Mike Parker's "dismissal."

I always delete Charles LeBlanc's spam. I only happened upon this entry after a coworker brought it to my attention.

And more

is charles leblanc french? because his english stinks.

My feelings are hurt!!!…lol….. Seriously? These words don’t bother me one bite but I do have a huge problem when they say - He cannot write!!! His English stinks!!!

Well? I know for a fact that my English stinks and yes also my grammar.

You have to understand that I’m using a public computer and I just write the darn blog and send it along the information Highway!

There’s many people who leaves comments and their grammar is terrible.

I WILL NEVER!!! I REPEAT- I WILL NEVER STOP SOMEONE OR DISCOURAGE
AN INDIVIDUAL TO WRITE THEIR VIEWS ON DIFFERENT ISSUES!!!!

We live in a very sad stake of affair once we make fun of a person writing skills!

Does it mean that only so call professionals are allowed to voice their views?

Remember the Mike Gaudet story? < citizen of the week! > I saw Mike last Saturday and the first statement he told me was that my grammar was terrible!

He beat me by one second because I was going to tell him the same thing!

I always take a print out of the blog and read it at my place!

On many many many occasions? I would get angry at myself because of the poor grammar!

To you people out there with bad grammar? We welcome you to this site! Everyone from different level of education is allowed to write their views on issues!

We will not make fun of you!!!

Ok…never mind that issue!!!

If you cannot make it to Moncton for the hearing of the Senate Committee to
look into the Irving newspapers Monopoly in this Province?

You can send them an email at

Charles your absolutely right and don't take any of it to heart, your grammarv couldn't have been too bad,did the reader not say he got what he came to your site for??and did he not also say that he couldn't find that information elseware?? I rest my case and the third and final thing we as regular readers understand your writing just fine and abviously as you just said in this exact piece look at the hits they don't lie!! So for the rest of us that has made this site home for information on the issues Just keep on keepin on! I certainly don't see any other website in this province that gives both sides of the story no matter what the response and the best part of this is we know our frustrations are passed on to just about every member of this government on a daily basis so they can't deny that the issues are indeed being talked about again Good Work!!

you also type with one finger...I seen it
myself.
I type with my 8 fingers and two thumbs....its a compliment that you
can type as fast as you can and never took a typing course. It does
explain why you might type a letter wrong once and a while.

I have a question to ask ...When the Dry Dock closed its doors and shut
the place down, all of the inventory that was at the Dry Dock was shipped
to the Dry Dock in Halifax. Does this mean that NB paid and is still
paying for this? I really do not understand why the Federal Government owed
the Irvings money....would they not owe the people in Saint John who paid for
this through their taxes. Would they not owe us that money (Our City)?
I really do not understand how this is working and why the Irvings are being
paid off. If they are owed money the so should we as far as I am concerned, we should also receive something from the NS Government for the
money that they saved by not having to buy the Inventory for the Irvings...I am off track?

For anyone new to Charlie's blog site...here's a quick tip. Read his updates with a french accent. Works for me and they make perfect sense..

Wow, being French myself, and being tell the same thing over and over I almost want to tell them: The day you can write perfect French my friend, will be the day I'll let you say my English stink.

Anyways don't let those comments bother you. People making such comments are jealous of you. Mom told me that when I was real young :)

News this morning in the Saint John paper is that the Shipyard is
ordered to pay severance to workers. It also states that JD Irving engaged in unfair labour practices. I think that they got off easy and cheap.
There was 6000 workers there at one time and if the figures came out to exactly how many are going to receive severance pay, its gross. All workers had retirement investments through the Dry Dock, after the shipyard closed,
many people were forced to cash these investments in just to eat.
Since it took so long for this day to come, many workers ended up cashing in and the company's mandate was if you cash in you were terminated. I think that
it was a cruel way for any company to operate and the government should of never of allowed it in the first place. They are only paying a very small portion to what they should be paying as far as I am concerned and the
paper was nice only to say that JD Irving engaged in unfair labour
practices because in my mind he got away with too much.

By the way, what did your driver want? Is he still going to drive you
or
are you going to hitchhike? I realize that you might be on the road
hitchhiking right now. Good Luck with your little speach tomorrow and
I
can't wait to hear what is said and how it goes. Sock it to
