IMPORTANT!!! This is not the area of the Welfare office in Frederiton. This is the Federal section. The system is still the same with their open cubicles policy! This picture was bought to my attention so therefore I acted on it!!! The guy took the picture but I wasn't around. I just wish to let the readers know about this issue!

Speaking of the poor there was a story on the news today that a rooming house in moncton got shut down and the worst of it was the 28 tenants had only 24hours to get their stuff together and vacate and the next sad part was that the local shelters were full so they reported that chances were most of these people would end up in the streets ( charlie with the limited rooms available you may have to swallow a little more of your pride than you care to but you may have to give (and I'm the last one to want to say this but)your landlord a bit of a break even if he's bending the rules a little as this again reminds the people with very little income you could indeed be hit with even harder times down the road. I sinserely hope god has a warm place and spot in his heart for the poor as they will certainly need the comfort when they get to him in heaven after the struggles they have endured here on earth.
So in these cubicles clients not only can be heard by others but seen too. They are really putting them through humiliation process so that people dare not apply for social assistance. This interrogating in public is dehumanizing. Surely Lord and others do not meet Irving in this manner. In that case they kiss their asses in the privacy of their offices and you cannot even see their faces as they are between their -you know what-busy kissing, .
This is one area that Family Services should not ignore any longer. The poor have the right to privacy and you are 100% correct on your comment! I wish the Government and the Irvings would have met this way????
