9 YEARS OLD CRYING TO HIS MOM WWWWAAHHH --- I WANT A STAR WAR TICKET!!!! WWWAAAHHHH!!

BLOG BY TIM SMITH

While out for a walk on Harbour passage with my daughter here in Saint John a woman and her son visiting from Ontario recognized me from the local paper and stopped me to talk.
She told me they were in a store in the uptown earlier in the day and her 9 year old son kept asking her to get him a star wars prize card (he called it)she tried to tell him it was for adults but from that you can see what the marketing scheme was designed to do?
I told her the government has become addicted to lottery revenues and electronic gambling exploitation to pay the bills of this province she was blown away to see the massive display of tickets that cover the counters in this province and made it very clear to me.

Tim must send this to Ms. Weir. Last Friday when she raised the issue of Star War lottery tickets Mr. Lord dismissed her concerns. Lord thinks problems will disappear with his words and verbiage. Following is the exchange.

Ms. Weir: My first question this morning will be for the Premier. Since he just spoke so
passionately about his concern for children, I am sure that he will want to stop having ALC preying on children in this province. Did New Brunswick’s representatives on the ALC board approve providing access to these products?

Mr. Lord: The question raised by the member for Saint John Harbour is an important one. I know that she wants to portray the situation a certain way. These games are not targeted at teenagers or at young people, and they should not be. That is certainly our position as a government. She wants to use the word “preying”. I do not agree with, and do not support, anyone preying on children or teenagers for gaming or gambling in any way whatsoever.

Yep! And VLTs are just for entertainment according to Lord. My!! people will have no entertainment if VLTs are gone!!! Apparently Lord needs every penny he can get. On the Voice of the Province he was indicating that he couldn’t wait for the legislature to close so that he and his ministers can resume their travels. We NBers the suckers will pay for these travels as they are done in our name. How much more these morons will screw our province before NBers will wake up. Now our children are the targets.
WAKE UP NB, WAKE UP.

Then of course Lord continues to play politics with our children. He said on the Voice of the Province that he did not want to sign the agreement for $100 million for childcare in Saint John because it would have helped Tom Zed for re-election.

He said money is there and it can be accessed any time. Total bull. Firstly children cannot wait for his political games. Secondly if there is a financial crunch and next federal government may say we will only honour childrcare money for the provinces who already have signed the agreement and others can wait until the financial situation improves. Or if next government is Liberal majority in Ottawa it may say, “Mr. Lord, first go on your knees and then we will think about such an agreement.” Mr. Lord is playing deadly political games with the future of our children.

Then of course he did not sign because he is connecting childcare money with money for Point Lepreau. In either case he must not play politics with the future of our children.

Any Premier who supports the drugging and killings of our children in this Province? There's something not right in his head. Wait till Shawn Graham gets elected Premier. The issue of Ritalin will be studied and Bernard Lord will go down in history as being a murderer!!!

That's why they put candy, by the checkouts, for the kids to cry and throw a fit for it!

And, whats to stop kids from gambling with the machines? See, they put machines in, thinking that even if the kids get a winning ticket, they will give it to an adult to turn in, for the profit? And, is the parents going to yell if the kid bought a winning ticket?????

Hello Blogger,

Your 9 YEARS OLD CRYING TO HIS MOM WWWWAAHHH --- I WANT A STAR WAR TICKET!!!! WWWAAAHHHH!! post caught my attention while I was doing some research on kid adhd.

I am currently in the process of creating a holistic treatment program for adhd. The idea is to integrate various treatment modalities so that anyone can benefit.

Would you care to share some of the secrets that you have gleaned from adhd.

My subscribers would certainly appreciate any insight that you have to offer.

Thank you for your post, it was a good read.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Warmest regards,
Hoe Bing
