I've never commented on the photos before, but i have to say, i've come to agree with those who say there's too many. Charles, they break up your text too much, please consider cutting down, or moving pics to a separate location with a link in the blog.

Seriously, does anyone need to see a photo of a fork and a spoon to know what one is? lol

lol...but I wrote about this issue a few weeks ago and the Kitchen never received one spoon or fork! So this time around, I pasted the picture with little words. But I do know what you mean about the pictures. It must run in the Family because my Father used to drive everyone with pictures to visitors....lol...you know the Fred Flinstones type!!!!

Charles... You should limit your Blogs to only 1 picture per post maybe 2 if it is at all necessary but I have to agree this is getting ridiculous.

I will try...some loves the pictures and some hates the darn things. What can I say but I will try!!! I love those pictures of the garbage in Saint John. One picture speaks 1,000 words!!!!

I think it is necessary to continue this notice on behalf of the Staff and Vollunteers at the Local Community Kitchen. It is a rel shame that in a "So-Called"
Prosparous, and Developed Country such as Canada. We have to have these establishments. But because of the Greed and lack of interest and Compassion that our elected officials have shown to our most vulnerable Citizens especially those who are on extremely fixed incoms. And that fact that their is not really any kind of substantial plan to truly help those people to get help with their problems and become meaningful contributors in the community, and Society as a whole, we need these establishments like the Community Kitchen, and places where the homeless and others who are less fortunate can get something wholesome and neutritious in their systems and have strength for the day.

I Thank God for those staff and Vollunteer workers who work at these Places, their work and effort needs to be recognized and commended and it is appreciated from the Bottom of my heart.

I sent this blog to the Irvings website! Do you think they will step forward with some forks and spoons for the poor peasants or will they say-Let them eat cake????

Hi Charles,

one person offered spoons and forks. I will bring them. I posted that people could directly drop them there or contact the kitchen. Hopefully more people will give. And more people might offer through the week.

I see the sign for the kitchen when I go to the Victoria Health Clinic every week but I never knew where you enter. Is it on the side where their are all those stairs (facing the Pointe St-Anne Boulevard) or the other side.

Thanks and if they ever need anything else, let me know it will be a pleasure to post it to our Freecycle Community.
