I just heard this on the streets in the Capital! Any Irving employees who don't dedicate their life and soul to the Irving Empire will be hunt down and fired!
Thew Irving Headquarters have let 73 or 78 Employees from the golden ball go!!! You will not see this in their newspapers!!!! Stay tune!!!!

I think that has to do with a crew they had pushing the irving credit cards and the program went belly up or something to that effect?????
It can possibly only get worse the word is they are taking a major hit with the newspaper sales in saint john also,So there can only be trouble on the horizon there too..

Not to throw water on everyone's conspiracy theories... but does anyone know any of this for a FACT? Is there any proof of this or is it more "I heard from someone who heard from someone whose brother is a high-up in Irving, etc"?
This site is all about rumours and innuendo. It's like the media. Why let the facts get in the way of a good story?
What's a golden ball? Sure its a rumour, but rumours can be interesting-nobody has to be here remember.
We shouldn't be surprised, forestry workers have been diminishing and I remember when Irvings used to own a big computer company but sold them after letting lots of people go. There's no doubt it would be nice to get some validity though.

You're doing what you complain about the Irvings doing, silencing a voice that disagrees with you. Here, you have the power.
What I said was this: I hate to see anyone laid off. I've been there, and it hurts, and it's scary. At the same time though, I have to recognize employers have the right to grow or shrink their workforce according to their needs.
I also said, I think it's disturbing that you, and many people here, have so little tolerance for anyone who disagrees with any of your anti-business, anti-government, anti-bureaucrat, anti-immigrant, anti-foreign-aid opinions.
You proved my point by deleting my post, which was not libellous, or profane, or racist.
Interesting that Charlie allows a picture of himself (albeit doctored) in a Nazi officer uniform... he yammers on about racism (which is everyone except him, apparently) yet has no problem with his head on one of the most identifiable and universal sympbols of racism and hatred. I'm surprised that people are decrying the comment about Special Needs Populations elsewhere in this blog and not Charlie dressed as a Nazi... or is it "ok" if it's him since he "fights for the people?"
Yet again, the double standard and bipolarity of this blog offers up a good laugh for some of us.
Myself? I don't hate anyone but I will explain the hitler picture in a future blog!!!
