I pointed this out in the earlier blog. Given the context of the back and forth it looks like it was actually someone against Lord who posted that although given the anonymity I'll agree it's a little hard to tell. Tough to jump on anything when just about everyone's loggin in anonymous.
well I can say with all certainty that charlie is exactly right on this one and I do not choose to be anonymous because I too was told this information straight from the horse's mouth good work charlie....
There is no question that remarks about special Olympic were made by a Lord supporter. The context was carefully reviewed. What can you expect from a racist premier and his supporters. Lord also says his racist remarks were taken out of context. Very common defense.
The purpose of these remarks was very obvious, to silence the critics of Lord.
Spinks you have very little credibility. You are also the one who attacked a minority who works for CBC saying that the person was incompetent without any supporting information other than gossip.
I'm not going to get into the CBC debate again unless you really wish to go there, except to say it was no attack. It was based on observations as a viewer, ratings and information from CBC staff. This isn't Russia so I'm allowed to have an opinion even if it contradicts 80% of the people here. Even still, the viewers and taxpayers will decide the fate of CBC not this forum, although the viewers appear to have already decided given their lacklustre numbers.
I will reiterate my personal feelings that Lord is no racist. Again, not my favourite guy and I don't for a minute think he's done any great things for this province but these type of attacks are desperate measures by some radicals who are looking to demonize Lord with little to no evidence. If he's guilty of a hate crime, the police would or will charge him and he will no longer be premier. If that day comes I stand corrected. Until then, this is nothing more than a smear campaign.

A little reminder for those who like to always point the finger and criticize individual comments that tend to try and show or in most cases expose the modern day brain washing by Personal, Corporate and or Political systems of this decade and the very different time we as average common folk are living.
Being taken advantage of and or being manipulated into believing that which is not always true but are led to believe if it is said by someone other than you it must hold some sort of validity.
Here is a great example of how this works-
When you can be so blatant to put a commercial on television and literally prove to the public that you can rip them off right in front of their eyes and exploit it as a great thing is quite amazing and shows that exploitation comes in many forms and if you dress it up just right you can slip it by the best of them and rake in the profits.
Example: the new Cadbury slims, they tell you if you don't like the large bar (the one that at least by size shows you what you've gotten for your buck) you can now get the new half as thick bar in stores now!
The catch: -Cadbury Slims-This ad has confirmed that if you put it across as a good thing you have just proven that you can get the same price for half of what you have been selling and no one is the wiser, the bigger bar is slowly replaced with 50% less of what you were getting and you still pay the same price.
The company sits back and in the end has just made 50% more in profits, reduced the size of another product and without you the unaware consumer even catching the switch.
My Point??-Before you buy into what those who suggest is a great move forward and or is necessary for change toward a better future checkout the package in it's entirety and be sure the whole package is still intact and also that it didn't loose some of it's content in it's new representation to you the public.
Please remember before you tend to jump on someone for giving you more than one way of looking at the things put before you, it is exactly for that very reason you need as many ways to examine something as possible and blogsites are fast becoming that outlet to do just that,

There were 3 of them that wanted on the committee now 2 resigned last Monday evening so that should mean 2 out of the 3 should be on. Lets see what the assholes do there next meeting.
