Went out there to shoot some pictures this evening (Sunday) and was amazed at the number of people that were pouring into the parking lots to get a look. I had never seen the shipyard up close and was impressed by the scope of it. Will be interesting to see the site when the new plant is in place.

The following was in August 29, 2005 editorial of Telegraph. Is that not double-faced? LNG is great for Saint John but bad for the health of St. Andrews' folks. What about the health of people in Saint John?
Telegraph Journal editorial:
quotes:
"Irving Oil might benefit if the Maine LNG projects fall through, but Premier Lord is not acting as the company's advocate. He's opposed to the Passamaquoddy Bay projects because they would be located on waters this province shares with Maine, and that worries New Brunswick residents"

"LNG tankers would disrupt Canadian businesses based on tourism, fisheries and aquaculture."

"The residents of St. Andrews and other communities fear the LNG projects on Passamaquoddy Bay would threaten their health, property, and way of life."

You don't get any more transparant than that people. Time to refer to him as Bernard Irving. I'd say 'Lord Irving' but that has way too positive a sound to it.

Can Bernard Lord really ask Governor Balducci with a straight that LNG is bad for the health of the prople in St. Andrews and Charlotte County and push for LNG in Saint John. He is a some bag of dirt. Man has no credibility of any kind.
The way Times and Transcript and Telegraph builds him up they are doing no favour to him. Actually they may be doing damage enabling Lord to live in a make-believe world. When reality dawns on Lord it is going to be some shock. People of NB had it with him, with his stupidities, incompetence and blunders.
