The only question is what took so long? Grocery shelves are gettig empty, farmers are worried about running out of feed and they stopped/slowed a truckload of blood coming through. I feel bad for the truckers but guess what they're not the only ones affected by gas prices. All of North America is. Bernard Lord does not have the power to fix all of North America's oil problems. It is selfish of them to hold everyone hostage. If they really wanted to take a stand against the high oil prices, go demonstrate at the Irving Refinery in Saint John.
I feel bad for the trucker also, but unlike the independent trucker, I,like all the poor working suckers cannot deduct my gas expenses from my earnings, unless these truckers have poor accountants, their gas and other expenses should be deducted from their earnings. Perhaps they should hold back their taxes, it did work for the first nations gas dispute a few months ago.
