Oppsss I almost forgot my person of the week.
I’m still having a difficult time choosing one but I found one!!!!
My person of the week is Kim Somerville Manager of the Back Door Bar on Rothesay Avenue.
A few weeks ago, she announced that the VLT’S were out the door.
The reason she gave was that too many families were going through a lot of hardship because of these dreadful machines.
The Lord Government don’t care so what can we do?
Bernard Lord told the audience on Voice of the Province last week that he told Mr.Volpe to find 20 million dollars.
Where is he going to find the extra money?
I heard they might installed VLT’s right at the bar.
You won’t have to get up your seat? You will see the VLT’S on the counter of the bar.
That’s what they do in Las Vegas!
Sad….it’s over in this Province until the Lord Government are remove from office.
In the meantime, people like Kim Somerville should be congratulated for a job very well done.
They took the time and taught of the families!!!!
Good work Kim!!!!

It is nice to hear that there people who own a business such as Charle's Person of the Week. who realize that some if not many of their customers have an adiction problem when it comes to Video Lottery Terminals ("VLTs"). They are making an effort to have a safer environment for all of their Customers. I think it is a good beginning and hopefully it will catch on."Way to Go Kim".
Perhaps these establishments that take out their VLTs should also get a portion of the profit brought in by the places that carry them. Since a portion of the profits is supposed to go to addiction problems, this may be one way of actually helping people.

We need people like Kim Somerville in public offices and gutless, spineless, immoral, unethical, lying Bernard Lord.
