Probably because it didn't happen the way you said it did. Just like everything else on your blog, it was fabricated.

Amen to that.
Not everyone sees this blog as a relaible source of information.

maybe a reliable source of hooey!!!

Instead of the story of Hooton blowing her fuse, this story was prominent in
Telegraph Journal:

Province to give $8M to hospital

Telegraph-Journal

Premier Bernard Lord will be in Saint John today to announce nearly $8 million in new medical equipment.
++
This sure is buying votes. I hope Saint John Harbour does not fall for it. Here is a chance to expose Lord who he really is, a liar and a manipulator.

Michelle Hooton will be the best to represent the people in her riding.

Besides she's a Babe.

Lord thinks we are utterly stupid. He thinks he can fool us anytime. Out of blue he suddenly has money for the hospital- $8 million at that.

Let us teach him a lesson that he is the biggest fool. Hooton must not get our votes. We are not for sale and our votes are not for sale.

Enough is enough. This is too much. Hooten must be booten.

9:41 why you keep calling her 'babe". It is derogatory. She is running for an MLA. Legislature is not the Playboy mansion.

She just does not have qualifications to be a successful legislator.

9:41 must have obsession with her. A potential stalker. Remember she has bodygaurds, big ugly dudes. They will beat you to pulp.

However, Hooton must be booten.

It happen just the way Hooton usually does when she loses it. You'll see that in the Iving, PC paper. If that was Dr Doherty Or Mr Rocichaud it would of got plenty of ink. Guess getting ink Lord with his truck load of money which belongs to us any way. Give Hooton the Booton!

Ed cannot deliver to the riding in opposition. Remember this when you vote. Ed is done and cannot bring anything to the good people of SJ harbour.

Were any reporters there, Charles? If they weren't that's probably why we haven't seen anything. Unless people are willing to come forward and tell the story (not anonymously by the way), we won't see it in media because it's unsubstantiated. If some people come forward though we should see something.

I will NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER vote PC ever again because they are not worthy of my vote. As far as Hooten goes, shes just a pretty face with nothing between the ears, she proved that with the LNG deal for Saint John! And as far as Charles goes he does more for his fellow human beings then the people we pay at the legislator do for us. Also, as far as the paper goes for not mentioning anything about the out of control hooten, who cares because who reads their paper and really believe that they are getting all of the news anyways. So when the paper is pointed out to be neglectant then thats when the people decide if their paper is worth reading, and the stats probally show what this Province really thinks of their paper because they are always on the phone begging you to buy it, I say stick it!

I love this site. Where else can you hear "Give hooten a booten?"

How horrible it will get. Tories are saying that if Saint John Harbour wants to get anything done they must elect Tory candidate. So why rest of us pay taxes. Only those in Tory riding should pay taxes as they are the only ones who are going to get any services.

Very unethical and immoral approach. This is not democracy. This is pork-barrel politics.

This is simply an observation. What was she doing at UNBSJ anyway? The University isn't in the riding of Saint John Harbour. If I were her I'd be spending all my waking time in the riding, not talking to people who for the most part don't live in the riding anyway. Who organized that one for her?

I wonder where Premier Lord got his greasy little paws on so much money for hospital equipment, when he cannot even afford to put up money for those in our Province and Community who are on a fixed income or, homeess, and who need affordable low income houseing. I am not begruging the need for state of the art hospital equipment, that is so very much needed and has been a long time in coming. Thank God for it it is appreciated. but we need affortable low income housein so those in our society can have a better standard of living, and we also need employment for those in our societ who have a few years to go to retirement. there are a good deal of citizens who are willing to, and want to be employed, but there are few jobs or, the public sector/private sector is not hiring.

I think that this Current Provincial Government had better get off its part of the body that meets the chair and do right by all of the voting public or get lost.

I like Michelle Hooten I am told that she is one beutiful lady but she is marriaed cannot go there. I would vote for her in a heart beat if she was running here but not with Lord. I am sure that I will not attack him personally because that is not ethical, but I will attack his record but I have to honestly ask this question, Who in our Provincial parties can truly make a difference, "NOT ALYSON BREWER NO NDP IN NB, UNLESS IT IS ELIZABETH WEIR

I was just wondering if there is only two credable journalist in New Brunswick one a person who quite clearly has an axe to grind with the Irving's that he posted an article that is at least 15 years old and the other one being the host of a talk show that has to sell adds.

The candidate were on campus to talk politics to poli sci students. They wanted to show their social responsibility. Also, a lot of uni students live down town.

"The damage he would do to Canada is just too scary to think about." jwmcq you are so right. God forbid that ever happens. The man cannot run one of the smallest province in the country. He made a mess of it. How is he going to run the country. Unthinkable.

Anonymous said...

I don't care for Lord but Nb is certainly not a mess. Reading the comments here it's made to sound like Iraq. Life in NB is not so bad. If you don't like it move to another province. You'll learn quickly that you want to come home because life here is pretty good.

People only come back because they are HOMESICK or ready to retire.

You will please take note that things are so rosy here that the population is declining! All the young people with any brains or balls are leaving in droves.

The Irvings are automating and downsizing everywhere.

New Brunswick is a beautiful place to get an education and to come home and retire.

The problem is that the people coming back have lived and worked building the economies of other provinces only to come home and become a drain on ours!

Would the last one to leave please turn out the lights!

People want to protect and improve what we have; nothing wrong with that. Give Lord and Hooton the Booton. If you are lucky you get a chance to correct wrongs; do so now and Vote Dr. Doherty!

11:03 AM You must be under a rock or just don't care for all people. Please get informed. Vote to rid of Lord, give Hooten the Booten!
