JUST SAW BERNARD LORD ON ATV NEWS!!!

The camera filmed Bernard Lord going door to door and no one answered the door? Is this a sign of things to come?

This isn't scientific but I,ve been volenteering for the fair taxation group delivering information leaflets to every door in the Saint John Harbour riding along with about 20 others.

I found that whether it is the South end,the North end or the Westside of the city, there are very small amounts of Conservative support in among the Liberals and NDP as far as signs on lawns or in windows go.

I was most surprised by the westside which seems to be split between Liberal and NDP with very little conservative blue.

To date we've delivered roughly 7500 to 8000 leaflets. We always try to meet at the end of each run to talk about how it went or what we've been hearing around town.

Hope that helps a bit.

Polls are funny things jwcmq. A poll showing someone in the lead can backfire. I suspect the worst thing for Hooton wouldn't be a poll showint the Liberals ahead it would be a poll showing her ahead. Her soft supporters may decide she doesn't need her vote at all and take it elsewhere or not vote at all. Can't wait to see what you have CL.

The only news coverage their is advertisements for Hooton. Positive articles and full page pictures in color and any spin to get attention or a vote for the Lord Government. Council should be watched or attended this week because this the last council meeting to allow her more speech opportunities and announcement to try to give her the upper hand before November14th. There is going to be an announcement for 10 million dollars for the Red Head road, I heard from the horses mouth, but who knows. Money is pooring out from everywhere. Don't worry we will soon be forgotten if Michelle wins! Please let Lord do his wonders for two more years without that extra seat and he will need our vote. Don't be bought yet hold onto your dignity and give Hooton the Booton, VOTE Dr. Doherty!
Still waiting for the truth to come out about Hooton and what this whole compaign is really about.???????????????????Booo Hooton.

Yes don't fall for the news coverage by the Irving paper. Hooton does not need a pity vote give her the Booton. Don't trust the papers they will try as always to sway your vote do what is right this time and give Lord his dose of medicine. We have had to swallow our doses too long. Give him the same respect he has given us--NONE. Vote Dr Doherty, don't split votes because that only helps Hooton. Give Hooton the Booton. Donuts anyone! She showed her true colors at UNB.

Bernie looks pretty pathetic. Not a good welcome in Saint John.

We were doing exit polls during the Saturday Advanced Voting. We have Hooton at about 60%.

Hey, I just report the numbers, and it IS and exit poll, so ya never know.

But the big issue is people are disgusted with Ottawa, and are affrid that if they put a liberal in here in SJ, Ottawa wont be far behind.

-Sponorship theft
-legalizing drugs
-decriminalizing prostitution

These things just don't go over well with good citizens of Canada and its what the feds are pushing for. Our polls say they really don't care who wins, but as long as its not the liberals.

Thats what I know.

The opening of Elizabeth Weir's office will take place at 33 Charlotte Street Saint John today monday Nov 7th at 1:45 this afternoon.
There will be a large gathering of folks including members of cupe.

Come on out and show your discontent with the Bernard Lord Government.

The comment above is a little off the mark because we did the same thing outside the doors and got the opposite results with the Liberals ahead at 58%.

Should be interesting to say the least.

Our immediate problem is Lord government which has done more harm to its citizens than help. May be becaues Lord is totally incompetent. We have to take care of that first. Please send a strong messaage on Nov 14 to Bernie that he is done. We do not want him or likes of him anymore.
