Certainly looking forward to hearing more from the candidates. The telegraph is backing Hooton and only Hooton, no surprise all article have been silent with the UNB incident, maybe the student and professor could have some input that day. The telegraph won't print the story; by the way all is on tape. People from Fredericton are knocking on doors and they were knocking in the wrong riding. Good help is hard to find noone wants to defend Lord's government. More to say but no time.
True, it is very apparent who the Telegraph journal supports. However, there is also no secret as to what side of the fence Mr.Mantle sits on. I've been hearing rumors that Mr.Mantle may take a stab at public life sometime in the future. I wonder what party banner he'll run under? Bet it won't be blue, and it won't be orange. :-) Don't get me wrong, i'm not beating up on Mr. Mantle or CFBC here. But why is it wrong for the newspaper, to show support in one direction and right for Talk of the town to do the same thing. Just curious in the reasoning here is all.
I listen to Talk of the Town everyday and this is the first I have heard that he is for the Liberals. I have never heard him express an opinion one way or another.
CFBC has the bigger influence in that particular riding. More people in the riding appear to be listen to CFBC than reading the TJ. The TJ's circulation has been on the decline in recent years ever since the elimination of the Evening Times Globe.
I would like to think it's going to be the people of Saint John Harbour riding,Be it rich,middle class,and the poor folks who will have influence and no one else.
Good for Rick Mantle, we need good people. No one is against people getting involved. They cross the line when they pretend to care and turn their backs on the people of Saint John- and say let move on and we have to listen to that crap over and over. Hooton did not want to revisit the deal and never will. Give Hooton the Booton who has had private meetings on our dime for too long. Hope your trip with Tourism on our money was fun!
Tomorrow Premier Lord is here in Saint John to open Elizabeth's office, a boughten job, paid with our money to remove her from her sit in Fredericton @ the cost of $125 thousand, $20thousand for car and expenses and who knows what else. Lord is trying so hard to buy a sit from the highest taxed area, with highest poverty rates, unemployment, soup kitchens, but he also can make mistakes that cost us millions, LNG deal with the Irvings and NB Power- orimulsion fiasco and I could go on and on. We have another week before the election hopefully people take all the money they can and vote for Dr. Doherty. Take the money and run. A little taste of his own medicine; it doesnot go down as easily when it happens to Lord.
Mantle sucks so bad. The people calling in are just LNG racist protestors. The views expressed are all for liberals. It is obvious that Mantle must one sided if you have ever heard his station. CRAP CRAP CRAP can't believe people would actually listen to that crap.
I see we have another whining CON-servative(7:59)amongst us by that one sided view of which he is throwing accusations at rick Mantle. They can whine all they want I for one am NOT going to share my cheese with that person.
(7:59) Is Just upset that the people of Saint John are given a place to voice their comments. Unlike the TJ where anything that is in that is doubled filtered Conserative and Irving. Their are Conseratives that call talk of the town every day and get to talk so what (7:59) is saying that hey citizens of Saint John dont speak out becuase the conseratives will shut you up like the UNBSJ incident.
