Great pictures Charles, busking on one of the coldest days of winter.
I have been forced to do the same every so often but; many people who own downtown businesses frown upon entertainment outside their establishments. NBLCC also has a policy that their premises are also out of bounds. I have spoken to many people who feel buskers are welcome by the general public.

My point is that a person who is down on their luck and has a god given talent, should be able to solicit spare change by busking public streets.

Designated places for this type of initiative should be alloted and like in other cities throughout Canada, a proper permit could be issued after an audition of the planned act to be performed. Any reports of abuse of these priveledges would call for a cancellation of the permit.

Charles you are out and about each day, why do you not ask the general public for feedback on this and also the merchants themselves?

I would love to see the streets of Fredericton alive with buskers all year round. That way I would not feel so lonely!
