The Mayor tries to put a spin for positive and taxpayers would like some honesty but we never get that. People are not happy with the so called "No Tax Break". The rich get richer and the average people pay more taxes so the Billionaires can fill their pockets. Norm certainly is doing well for himself. He won't come near most people in the city.
My favorite is when the Mayor said he puts bums in the seats at Harbour Station. Also another good one the caller who had an Irving truck out front and he had to go and give an IOU to the Irvings.
Yes callers were cut off when they were going to ask some good questions. This is the first time watching and next week I'll lower myself to listen to another loser the Premier.

Well it's not too late to reverse things but the Mayor, MLAS' and Premier has turned their backs to the people who have been paying thier taxes and don't receive tax concessions.
Maybe years ago the Irvings needed a hand up now the taxpayers need a hand up. THe Billionaires need to pay their share so the people can enjoy life too. Look at the gouging in the city with gas prices.
THe Mayor tries to reach for more people to be standing by him. He wanted to put a more personal spin on his life and how much he cares, what a good person and family man he is, how hard he works and that if we want him he can be reached.
Does he not think the taxpayers are good people who care about their families and the daily struggles they make, at two or three jobs or one long job to pay for taxes the big corporation have passed onto us.
When they receive tax concessions for oil, water, forests and now LNG Deal and many behind closed door arrangements we know nothing about; we have to pay the difference.
When will it be our turn to flourish just a little? Profits are made in oil,gas, power, car insurance and many more corporate greed at our expense.
Our politicians play this game and allow these things to happen decade after decade; hopefully people standup and demand our rights to be honoured.
We work hard for our money, we are good people who want our families to at least have a piece of the pie; instead of the Irving getting the whole pie and the crumbs and we have to subsidize forever.
