STEPHEN HARPER A SECOND GEORGE BUSH???

Picture 243, originally uploaded by Oldmaison.

Canadians will never again see on television our dead soldiers arrving home.

Shame on Stephen Harper!!!! Boy? He changed a lot from the day this picture was taken?

These days, he doesn't even want to meet with the public. This was proven during his last visit to the Capital!

Good morning charles, I am so angry today, I could spit bullets at S. Harper...how dare he restrict the press and the Canadian people to their rights and freedoms in this country..How dare he not lower the flag in honour of our brave men and woman serving in harms way...How dare he stop the press from covering the honour these men will receive today...If he can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!! I had a grandfather, a father, uncles , a brother, and a son serve this country, and how dare he make a mockery of this,. I think everyone who visits your blog today should plug the email of every MP in Ottawa today...Hats off to the Liberals and all the opposition, bringing forth a motion today to force this idiot to lower the flag out of respect to our fallen brothers...I am just hoping they can add freedom of the press today to this motion before it is presented in the house of commons, which is "the house of the people"....I think you should start a poll today on your blog, as to the popularity of Stephen Harper, in the wake of all this controversy...I am sure you will see his approval rating drop just like G. Bushes' to practically "nil"

thanks

HELLO FROM NEW BRUNSWICK........I AM WRITTING TO YOU TO TELL YOU, I AM APPALLED AT YOUR ATTITUDE AND ACTIONS FOR THE PAST 2 DAYS....WE THE PEOPLE OF CANADA, YOUR BOSS, EXPECTED BETTER FROM THIS CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT, FOR THE RESPECT AND APPRECIATION OF OUR SOLDIERS. ..HOW DARE YOU NOT GIVE OUR 4 FALLEN SOLDIERS AND THEIR FAMILIES THE RESPECT THEY DESERVE BY, LOWERING THE FLAG AND ALLOWING THE PRESS TO COVER THEIR LAST JOURNEY HOME...WE AS CANADIANS ARE SO PROUD OF OUR TROOPS AND THIS IS TOTAL DISRESPECT TO THEIR SERVICE AND THEIR MEMORY...I HAVE HAD FAMILY MEMBERS WILLINGLY GIVE SERVICE FOR THIS COUNTRY, INCLUDING 2 GRANDFATHERS, A FATHER, SEVERAL UNCLES, AND A SON, WHO WORE THE CANADIAN UNIFORM WITH PRIDE AND SERVED UNDER THIS GLORIOUS MAPLE LEAF (ONE UNCLE WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE DURING WW1), THESE MEN WHO HAVE PAID THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE WERE PROBABLY THE SOLDIERS WHO LOOKED AFTER YOUR SAFETY WHEN YOU VISITED THEM A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO.....I JOIN WITH ALL CANADIANS ASKING YOU TO LOWER "OUR" FLAG AND GIVE THESE SOLDIERS THE RESPECT THEY DESERVE AND HONOUR THE FREEDOM OF THE PRESS, SO WE AS CANADIANS CAN SHOW OUR RESPECT AND MOURN WITH THE FAMILIES OF OUR FALLEN COMMRADES....OUR TROOPS ARE ALL CANADIAN BROTHERS AND SONS' AND FATHERS ......IF NOT, MR HARPER, I THINK YOU SHOULD RESIGN, AS YOU ARE NOT ACTING IN THE BEST INTERESTS FOR ME AND FOR ALL CANADIAN PEOPLE....

SINCERLEY YOURS

Nothing new. We all know Harper is a little puppet of Bush. Harpers wants to do whatever Bush did or will do. He is in the lap of Bush. It is sad that we have P. Minister – P means pea brain – who is so ignorant and so uncaring.

Guess who his greatest supporter is B. Lord - B stands for bully.

Yup, Harper has restricted the press. No question about it and the media is ripping mad. Here's the interesting thing though. The Conservative's poll numbers are actually "UP" since he started restricting the media. In fact, if you believe the polls (and that is of course debatable) Harper would likely have a majority government if an election were held today. My die-hard anonymous Liberal supporter won't like to hear that (I think he was calling for a new election on Jan. 24) but it goes to show just because the media is making a noise doesn't make it so.

If you believe polls I've got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn-cheap! Because obviously you'll believe anything.

True enough. the provincial Liberals are up in the polls too. I guess that must also be hogwash. Good point. :)

Sure, lots of people who didn't vote for Harper saw him restrict media then suddenly changed their minds to support him right after voting against him. Riiiiiiiight! I'll give you twenty bucks for that bridge in Brooklyn.
