You are calling Rogers "Old Germany". That is terrible. You do not know what happened in Germany. If you do not know an issue well then keep your mouth shut about it.
Have some respect for human life. Millions were killed in Germany by Hitler. You must not make light of it in this manner.

I used the term old germany of the way Hitler took control of the media.
Hitler made his speech on television and this Crosby kid is doing the same.
Do like me? Watch the first 5 minutes of his show and turn to another channel.
I am not the one who feels this way. I'm 100% certain that the ratings of that show is way done.

Rogers will not let a blabbermouth call them so it is old Germany. Bull. I do not blame them a bit. All the power to Rogers. Keep the riffraff out.
Who cares if you blame them? Who cares what your opinion is? This is Charles blog and he can call it how he sees it. It's provocative language to be sure, but sometimes a little provocation is necessary. This is a very serious issue, soon all the media in the province will be Irving and Rogers. We already know what its like having Irving own all the papers, most of the issues never get covered, they are pure propaganda machines.
The Moncton paper is the worst of the lot, they out and out lie about most issues, yet New Brunswickers have no way to challenge this. No wonder the province is the worst place to live in Canada and the US.
Millions did die in Germany, and nobody should make light of that. But let's be real-millions also died right here in Canada. As short as a decade and a half ago we saw an epidemic of native suicides. If you think New Brunswick is so different from 'old germany', just ask a native about it.
It's not uncommon for TV commentators to hold up a local newspaper when discussing an issue. Since Irving owns most of the NB papers it stands to reason that it would be one of their papers.
Charles certainly doesn't get on the shows as much as he used to (if at all). I'm not sure of the reasons or if I agree with them but callers do get through even if Charles does not. As with any show the calls are screened to ensure violations to the CRTC rules aren't made. I miss hearing Charles but perhaps they wnated to get more voices on. Charles and Walter in Bathurst were often the only voices you's hear.
I just don't find the Rogers shows that bad Charles but I understand you're being upset. The shows could be better but at least they're giving some local content. That's better than any other broadcaster and most of the time the people you see are either volunteers or being paid peanuts. It's tough for me to give someone grief for the job they're doing when they're not even being paid. I'd like to see them do more but I applaud them for doing what they do even if they have aren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts but because the CRTC tells them to. At least they're doing it.
I had a problem with Canadaeast site this morning. I wrote them. In no time I received a personal response apologizing for inconvenience that the problem will be fixed permanently.That is Irving. You tell Leblanc that certain aspect of his blog can be improved. He responds “ go to hell it is my blog. Do not visit if you do not like”. So you tell me who will be successful to get their point across - those who pay attention to their readers or those who insult their readers.

First of all, what was the problem with Canadaeast that was fixed? Nobody said Irving was not responsive, but clearly it depends what the issue is.
Try emailing Canadaeast and telling them to sell some of thier papers and radio stations and change their editorial style and they'll tell you to go to hell as quick as Charles does. If Charles changed the blog to suit every person with a suggestion, it would no longer be Charles blog. At least you get to complain and can keep complaining on every single blog if you want, try doing that with Canadaeast. Tell them you want your byline right underneath every article they print that you don't like and want to rebut. No, they won't tell you to go to hell, but then neither did Charles.
As for Rogers, nobody was picking on volunteers, this is about Rogers pure and simple. Most people have no idea how they operate so are just blowing wind. They sent a guy from ontario to run all Rogers in New Brunswick. These clowns have no idea about the province but don't really care.
Their instructions from Ontario are to run the station purely as volunteers so they don't have to spend any money. As it is, there is next to no money that goes into production, which means NB talent has zero opportunities.
Many veterans of Rogers have left, some were good workers, some were pinheads. But nobody is griping at the volunteers who put in hours to learn a skill and try to put out some content. Like any company those people have zero power to implement any ideas they may have, they are all approved or disapproved by Ontario. That is Charles beef, and its a good one. Community television was the last place there was any local coverage of issues, but Rogers is so bad places like St. Andrews have gone out and started their own community channel. Usually these are fought hard by Rogers, who like their monopoly. It takes a lot of work to do that though.

They have not told him to go to hell. They still publish his meaningless letters. They also ignore his whining as he is a lunatic fringe.
He whines daily yet he is displaying picture on the side with Irving with great pride. Yes media does listen to public opinion and make changes accordingly. This guy has one little blog and insults people daily who give good suggestions. Lunatic fringe, yes.
Show some respect to readers. Irvings have told no one to not read their paper if they do criticize it. There are many letters published critical of the papers.

The fact is don't get pissed off at the Station Manager, he's only doing his job if you want to aim your rage at somebody, the person you want to call out isn't him, it's a woman who runs Rogers Television in Ottawa named Collette Watson, who rose to power after Tom Green made the air and became the hit, and then she came up with the idea of making shows that appeal to more of what I like to refer to as a "wine & cheese crowd" (she even got her best friend a show and she even co-hosted it, it was called Margret's Sense of Occasion). If you want to get mad at somebody get mad at her. May I also suggest that you take a look at CRTC Public Notices 2002-61 and also read the CRTC Public Notices 1992-39, so you can better frame a complaint.
Hopefully this helps you out... And don't call it "Old Germany", I mean if you want to call it CCTV Rogers that might be a better refrence (that's the chinese host broadcaster)

2:55 PM you tell that to a rational person. Leblanc is not rational. He is full of it and people are fed up. That is why they do not accept his call.
Any comment which is critical of you, you do not post. Coward. Irving’s papers have the courage to publish critical of their stories but you do not have the guts.
