It would seem to me that as a voting citizen of this country and Province of New Brunswick, that I have a right to know what goes on within the Legislative Assembly building. and as a voting resident of New Brunswick, I that same bloody right to speak up when I feel my elected representative is screwing around with my vote time, and tax dollar.
No Quebcois security has the right to ban any voting citizen from the provincial headquarters. unless that person is threatening harm to another person or an elected official. furthermore, quebecois security shouldn't even be there in the first place, that job should be for New Brunswickers to do that is what we have our own security for. to protect our own interests.
If we broaden the picture a bit, we might notice that there is a climate of political hostility that far exceeds any of its kind for the last little while, not just in Fredericton, but all over this continent; the difference between this tension and past tensions is that it is aimed at the poor and marginalized in exchange for more freedom to the rich and powerful. This time, nobody seems to be standing up.
