Sorry Robert but you’re not allowed inside!!!!

I notice this vendor selling his products from across the streets from the Farmer’s Market Saturday morning.

Being Charles, I had to asked a few questions?

From what Robert tells me he has to be on a waiting list inside the Market. < Which could take years I guess > He pays rent $200.00 per week for his stand.

I bumped into the nice guy that same evening after investigating the Rat issue at the Fredericton Shelter.

He sells nice hot dogs and sausages.

The point here is should he wait so long to get a spot at the Farmer’s Market?

Alos, I wonder if the Fredericton Police Force would arrest the guy for selling his hot dogs on the streets?

There you go again trying to make something out of a non-issue.

1. There are only so many spots for rent in the Farmer's Market, which is a PRIVATE COMPANY.
2. There are people who have been waiting for spots BEFORE this guy wanted one.
3. If there are no available spots, then there are NO available spots. Period.
4. A waiting list is FAIR to everyone who wants a spot.

Entertain us - what do you think should happen? Should the company that runs the market evict all of their current business tenants and let all of the waiting people in? Get a grip.

If this hot dog vendor is paying rent for the location he is currently running his business in, then NO, the police will not shoo him away.

Take a look at the picture numb nuts. There is lots of room at the farmers market, like right on the other side of those flower pots. Anybody who knows anything about the farmers market knows that it is run by a small group of vendors. They don't like competition so only a certain number are allowed in. Of course defending private companies being able to do whatever they want is common practise in New Brunswick, which is why its the armpit of Canada.

Real armpit is Bernie Lord. He stinks. He made NB a joke of the country. Now there are more Nubie jokes than Nufie jokes.

To the 10:06am poster...

Of course defending private companies being able to do whatever they want is common practise in New Brunswick, which is why its the armpit of Canada.

What would you prefer? No private businesses whatsoever? That private businesses be made to cater to everybody else's wishes even though they invested their OWN money into the business? Somebody has to run it (be it an individual or a vendor collective) and it makes sense not to have too many vendors of one type. If the whole market turned into a bunch of tiny restaurant vendors, then the variety would be gone and they'd lose a lot of business.

I did look at the photos and there isn't a huge amount of room for dozens more vendors. That space is for people to WALK around and get to/from the doors. I'm sure there are probably fire regulations in effect too.

BTW, we're the "armpit of Canada" because of our unbelievably high number of lazy citizens who won't get jobs and rely on government handouts like Charles.

Is it not about time the Fredericton Police Force started issuing tickets to all the Jay Walkers that the market creates EVERY SATURDAY!

So much for the public safety commercials they put out on jaywalking!

The lady that runs the market has never cared about the problem of jaywalking annd the safety of the patrons of the market.

Not even the sense to put signs up warning traffic!

One day... some mother and her child will be smeared across the pavement by some huge SUV driver who can't even see over thier dashboard!

I noticed a busker in the market this weekend.

Not one of the usual buskers you see around.

Guess the old hag that runs the place, only wants people that SHE feels deserves a spot, in the market!

10:14? You do have a good point with the people crossing the streets. I'm surprise that no one got killed yet.

But to call the person who's the Manager of the Farmer's Market an old hag?

I first came across her during my protest and she politely asked me to go across the street to collect names for my petition.

I got to know her and she's a very nice person.

Be nice....
